Taeyong didn't want to admit it but after hearing everything, he really did feel less guilty about killing Minho. If everything Simon said was true, then Minho probably deserved it.
Despite that, Taeyong still couldn't bring himself to hate Minho; he did raise him after all.
"You took him away from me and I'm gonna make you pay for it," Simon growls, lifting Taeyong to his feet, "He was my only family."
Taeyong couldn't believe it: all these years he was being hunted because he killed Minho? "You think I wanted to kill him? Minho was my family too—"
"No!" Simon shouts, pinning Taeyong against the wall, "He was my blood! You were nothing but a stray kid he manipulated into serving him." He punches Taeyong's jaw hard, bruising his own knuckles in the process, "You were nothing but his slave," Simon continues and gives Taeyong another hit, "Minho should've never given you anything!"
Simon breathed heavily, smirking victoriously as he looked at Taeyong, satisfied with what he's done to him. "Everything you have right now is thanks to Minho and I'm gonna take it all back from you after I kill you."

Johnny and Ten made sure the black van was fully loaded with the heavy boxes full of money and guns. This was more than half their assets, and despite not having come to terms with the fact that Taeyong was giving it all away, they had to get to where he was as soon as possible.
"What the hell is Lucas still doing in Mexico? It would be easier if both of us went to help the boss," Ten complained as Johnny helped him with his M82 rifle.
"You know Lucas has a lot of acquaintances, he probably got stopped or caught up in something."
"All he had to do was dispose of a body and bring back some stuff. It's not that hard to smuggle weapons and a few pounds of cocaine."
Johnny rolls his eyes as they set the M82 in the back of the van. "You talk like he's transporting teddy bears and candy," he grumbles, shutting the doors to the trunk.
Ten simply shrugs which makes Johnny even more irritated. "Whatever, let's just get this over with," Johnny sighs. He fixes his earpiece correctly and verifies his weapons while Ten puts on his fingerless leather gloves and throws the bandoleer over his shoulder.
None of them showed it, but they were nervous about how this entire thing would go down. Other members weren't allowed to come because Taeyong didn't want to risk putting everyone in such danger. Either way, their base needed guarding as well since their most valuable things were there.
Johnny and Ten nod once to each other in encouragement before climbing inside the vehicle and going on their way to the location that was sent to them. The ride is filled with silence and anxiety until Johnny receives a call. "What's up, Jae?"
"I lost Jisung."
Johnny unconsciously tightens his hands on the steering wheel. "What do you mean you lost Jisung?"
Ten's own eyes widened upon hearing those words. "He what?"
On the other side of the line, Jaehyun sighs deeply, "All the Dreamies were with me until we got rid of all of Simon's men in the warehouse and burnt the place. We left the corpses inside and I only counted the Dreamies afterward... I realized just moments ago about Jisung."
"You're in serious trouble, Jaehyun. Taeyong just might kill you."
"I was watching him closely when we were inside, but I lost sight of him after everything went up in flames. His motorcycle is gone too, so he must've run off somewhere."
Johnny could imagine his friend pacing and beating himself up for not paying more attention to their youngest member. "We'll keep an eye out for him," Johnny assured before hanging up.
"You don't think he's..." Ten trails off but Johnny instantly catches on. "He's the one who pinpointed [Y/n]'s location in the first place, he's surely headed there." The older of the two concluded, "Taeyong isn't gonna be very happy about this."

"Where's the stuff I asked for, kiddo?"
Taeyong coughed violently, his throat itching and a metallic taste lingering behind. The fight was long lost, his teammates being tied back to back to each other and huddled into a corner. Simon was leaning against the wall opposite Taeyong who now had his hands behind his back. Taeyong mentally pleaded for Johnny and Ten to arrive as soon as possible.
"Tik tok, tik tok," Simon sang, spinning Taeyong's golden dagger between his fingers. He had torn off the sleeve of his own vest to plug up the injury on his leg. It was still bleeding, just less than before. "The only reason you're still alive is because I need to make sure you're giving me what I want," he clarifies, "If you try to trick me, I'll kill your little slut right in front of you!" Simon smiled wickedly, trailing the sharp edge across Taeyong's throat.
At this point, Taeyong didn't care if he made it out alive anymore, he just wanted to make sure [Y/n] was unharmed. His head was pounding and his body ached all over but Taeyong refused to give up; he had to hold out a little longer.
Simon looks at his watch, "Time's running out and I'm getting impatient," he snarls, pressing the blade against the prominent veins on Taeyong's neck. "Where are my fucking belongings?"
