i hung up and put my phone back in my back pocket and continue to walk around the grocery store getting groceries for the house but while i was in the fruit section getting strawberries i felt like someone was staring into my soul so i looked over my shoulder and made eye contact with hailey who quickly looked away and continued shopping so i huffed and grabbed what i needed and made my way to where she was looking to see if i needed anything

she nodded and i grabbed what i needed before walking away continuing my shopping ignoring the fact i felt sick

v-turn around then i'm literally walking out
i grabbed my bag after paying and began walking out only to see alex walking up to the door causing me to smile and hang up jogging over to the door and once he opened it for me i giggled wrapping my arms around his torso looking up at him as he smiled back at me wrapping his arms around me as we slowly rocked back

i giggled wrapping my arms around his neck standing up on my toes gently pulling him down meeting me half way as i kissed him leaving him stuck for a second until he grabbed my waist leaning in more letting me know he got the hint as i slowly rested my feet back on the floor smiling into the kiss knowing he was probably confused and excited all at the same time but eventually we slowly pulled away and looked at each other and immediately i could see the happiness and fear in his face causing me to nod gently running my fingers through his hair

v-well i did but after thinking about it and knowing people kinda know already like des jr and aria i figured we only have a couple more days or weeks until everyone knows anyways plus i actually talked to hailey today at the grocery store and she made me realize outta everyone else u could've picked u picked me and no matter how shitty i treat u u always manage to still love me and be there for me even when i don't want u too be like when i had the car accident years ago we weren't even together anymore and u let me stay with u when u didn't have to because ik how much it was hurting to just be around me
he stared at me in disbelief as i softly pecked his lips and laid my head on his chest listening to his heart rate as he stood there and gently laid his head against mine

we stood there for a minute just hugging each other enjoying our moment together until we pulled away and kissed again before he grabbed my hand as we began walking away talking about how i saw hailey at the store

a couple of hours later

jr-i thought dad was suppose to pick us up

jr-no i did i just thought mondays dad picks us up
v-well i so happen to be with ur dad today and i decided to come with

i smiled as i watched then run over to alex who stood by the car and got to their level giving him a big hug as they laughed and hugged him back while i eventually made my way to them as he finally put them down and opened the car door
a-ok if y'all get in the car fast enough we might go get ice cream

jr-can i get sprinkles on mine tho
v-ok u have to get in tho so we can go
they quickly got in the car and i helped them buckle in before closing the door behind me and looking up at alex as he leaned against the car smiling at me

a-nothing just can't really believe this is happening rn honestly i never thought i'll be seeing u put our kids in the back of my car again
i blushed to myself as i looked down feeling my face heat up but it wasn't for long because he gently put his finger under my chin lifting my head up kissing me as i placed my hand on his arm kissing him back until we pulled away looking at each other smiling as we heard the kids from inside the car screaming so we kissed one last time before getting in the car and making our way to the ice cream shop before going home
