"How about this?" My assistant showed me a picture. "No, no, no." I stood up in frustration. I massaged my temple as I sat back down. "Why don't you just come back when you have something nice to present to me." I said excusing myself from the room.
I checked my phone to see what time it was. Suddenly I looked at the date.
December 29
Sana's birthday! I immediately called her.
"The subscriber cannot be reached, please try again later." I groaned. Why isn't she picking up? This year was so stressful for me, and I know it is for her too. I feel guilty that I cannot be there to comfort her, with so much work, I barely have time to call her.
I was thinking maybe this day would be different, and that I'll try to rebuild the connection. I tried calling her over and over, still nothing.
I just hope Sana won't give up yet, because I'm not ready to let go.
