We are making our way back to the dormitories when Harry begins to talk
"Hagrid always wanted a dragon. He told me so the first time I met him"
"It's crazy. And worse Malfoy knows" Ron says looking over at the boy
"I don't understand is that bad?" Harry asks looking at me
"Yes very bad" I tell him
We continue walking as we come across Mcgonagall in a nightgown
"Good evening" she says to us as Malfoy appears behind her smirking
She orders us to go to her classroom in what I can assume for punishment for being out so late
"Nothing, I repeat, nothing gives a student the right to walk about the school at night. Therefore, as punishment for your actions, 50 points will be taken." She says angrily at us
"50!?" Harry exclaims
"Each. And to ensure it doesn't happen again, all five of you will receive detention." Mcgonagall states looking over to Malfoy as well as I smirk
"Excuse me, Professor. Perhaps I heard you wrong. I thought you said...the five of us." Malfoy says walking up to the teacher
"No, you heard me correctly, Mr.Malfoy. You see, as honorable as your intentions were, you too were out of bed after hours. You will serve detention with your classmates." As she finishes Malfoy looks to us as we all grin at him.
Later on Mr. Filch came to pick us up and leads us to where we will be serving detention
"A pity they let the old punishments die. There was a time detention would find you hanging by your thumbs in the dungeons. God, I miss the screaming." Filch looks back at us before continuing. "You'll be serving detention with Hagrid tonight. He's got a little job to do inside the dark forest." We make it to the Hagrid's home and see him outside with a crossbow and hear him sniffing. "A sorry lot this, Hagrid. Oh, good God, man, you're not still on about that bloody dragon, are you?"
"Norbert's gone. Dumbledore sent him off to Romania to live in a colony." He says still sniffing
"Well, that's good, isn't it? He'll be with his own kind." Hermione tells the saddened giant
"Yeah, but what if he don't like Romania? What if the other dragons are mean to him? He's only a baby, after all." He says making Filch roll his eyes
"Oh, for Gods sake, pull yourself together, man. You're going into the forest, after all. Got to have your wits about you." He says before walking off
"The forest? I thought that was a joke! We can't go in there. Students aren't allowed. And there are..." as if on cue a wolf howls as we all listen to the sound "werewolves"
"Oh there are more deadly creatures in that forest. In fact we may not come out alive~Ooooooo" I say walking over to Malfoy and snatching the lantern away.
"Stop messing around yea" Malfoy says nervoulsy as the others laugh at clearly seeing Malfoy scared
We then enter the forest and begin our search for whatever it is that Hagrid is looking for.
"Hey Hagrid what is that?" Harry asks as Hagrid and I walk over to the weird substance on the floor
"Looks like unicorn blood" I say as Hagrid picks some up with his finger to inspect it
"Keen eyes and smart head you got there Y/n. I found one of these dead a few weeks ago. Now, this one's been injured bad by something." Hagrid says standing back up.
