After leaving the professors we begin walking back to our dormitories. Walking down the corridor Ron begins to speak

"A squib is some one who is born into a wizarding family but hasn't got any powers of their own" Ron informs Harry. "Its why Filch is trying to learn magic from a Kwikspell course. It's also why he hates students so much. He's bitter"

"Harry? This voice... you said you heard it first in Lockhart's office?" Hermione asks

"Yes" Harry replies

"Do you think he heard it too?"

"He said he didn't"

"Maybe he is lying" Ron adds

"I don't thinks so. Lockhart may be an idiot but I don't think he would lie about something that can be dangerous to the school" I theorizing

"You do believe me, don't you?" Harry asks worried

"Course we do. You hear voices in your head. Mcgonagall says that Y/n felt Mrs. Norris' emotions such as the distress and later she turns up petrified." Hermione answers Harry

"Even then it was scary. Do you think I should have told them? About the voice? Harry asks looking at us with a frown

"Are you mad?!" Ron exclaims

"No Harry even in the Wizarding world hearing voices isnt a good sign" I answer

The next day comes around as we all head to Mcgonagall's class.

"Alright class today we will be turning animals into goblets" Mcgonagall says tapping a bird in front of her three times before it turns into a goblet. "Now who would like to go first? Mr. Weasley?" Ron nods and taps on his rat who turns into a hairy goblet with a tail. "You must replace that wand Mr. Weasley"

A few minutes pass by after the goblet lesson and I raise my hand. "Yes Mr. L/n?" She asks

"Professor can you tell us about the Chamber of Secrets?" I ask

"My subject is transfiguration Mr. L/n." She says walking over to me

"Yes but there seem to be very few written about it for those who are interested in the subject" I tell her

"Very well. You all know of course that Hogwarts was founded thousands of years ago by the four great wizards and witches of the age" she begins to tell us. "Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin. Three of the founders co-existed quite harmoniously. One did not"

"Three guesses who?" Ron says to Harry

"Salazar Slytherin wished to be more selective about the students admitted to Hogwarts. He believed that magical learning should be kept in all-magic families. In other words purebloods. Unable to sway the others he decided to leave the school. According to legend, Slytherin had built a hidden chamber in the castle, known as the Chamber of Secrets. Shortly before departing, he sealed it until the time that his own true heir would return to the school. Only then will the heir be able to open the chamber and unleash the true horrors within, and by doing so, purge the school of all those who Slytherin thought unworthy to study magic." She explains to us

"Muggle-borns" Hermione says in an angry and saddened tone

"Yes naturally, but the school has searched for such chamber it has never been found" Mcgonagall continued

"Professor exactly does the legend say lies within the chamber?" I ask

"The chamber is said to be the home of something which only the heir of Slytherin alone can control. It is said to be the home... of a monster" she says in a dramatic way.
