Chapter 8

We all sat there in sounds. We were all scared shitless. I closed my eyes and when I reopened them I saw hopper he was trying to get a signal but he got a distracted and started to walk away

"Hopper?" I asked

"Hopper!" I yelled as he got to close to the 'pollywogs'

I knew he couldn't hear me but I still screamed In The heat of the moment. I dropped to my knees and cried knowing Hopper could die and I can't do anything about it

I closed my eyes then reopened them and realize everyone was staring at me

"Hopper" was all I said

Bob grabbed the car keys and we were off to save Hopper

"There's nothing. There's nothing here" mike said as we drove around but it was just woods for miles

"Are we close?" Joyce asked

"We're in the facility" Bob said

"The facility?" Joyce asked

"It means we're close. I don't know" Bob said

"It's not precise" Bob said

"What?!" Joyce yelled

"I told you it isn't a 1 to 1 ratio" Bob said

"Turn right" Will said out of nowhere

"What?" Joyce said

"I saw him." Will said

"Where?" Joyce asked looking around

"Not here. In my now memories" will said

"Your what?" Bob asked

"Turn right" Will yelled. The whole time I was holding mikes arm

"It'll be ok" mike whispered to me and kissed my forehead. I felt safe with him

Bob quickly mad a sharp turn into someone's farm

Everyone started to scream as the car swerved around

Bob was just about to hit a truck that was parked in front of us when he came to a hard stop and we all flew back into our seats

"Are you ok?" Joyce asked

"Super spy" Mike said

"What's Jim doing here?" Bob asked I looked up to see the truck we almost hit was Hoppers

"Joyce?" Bob asked as she started to exit the car

"I need you to stay here" she said

"No mom, mom it's not safe" Will said

"That why I need you to stay here. Stay here." Joyce said slamming the door shut

"Hopper!" Joyce yelled as Bob also exited the car and they walked closer to the hole

I tried to think of something that would save Hopper but I couldn't think of anything. Then I remembered that I had powers??

I looked over to mike and kissed him softly which took him by surprise but he kissed back

"I love you' was all I said before I closed my eyes and tried to think really hard then, Bam, I opened my eyes to see I was standing right next to Hopper

"Hopper!" I yelled squatting down and trying to pull the vines off him

"Kid-" He said breathlessly

"It's n-no use" he breathed out

"No- no don't say that" I cried as the vines were suffocating him more and more
