-1 month later, october-

"guys is it just me or has jeongin been acting different lately?" hyunjin asks group while putting his lunch tray down 

"what do you mean by different?" felix looks up at hyunjin 

"like" hyunjin starts thinking "hes been sadder recently" 

"you know what? i've been noticing it too" jisung says 

"ok cause i thought it was just me. i'm worried for him" hyunjin shrugs 

"i should ask him whats wrong" felix says 

"don't." hyunjin replies quickly 

"why not?" 

"that'll just make him feel uncomfortable wait for him to open up to us" 

"true it's honestly really uncomfortable for somebody to just randomly go up to you and ask you what's wrong" jisung agrees 

"oh"

"anyways there's a couple months of school left how are you guys feeling?" hyunjin rests his head on both of his palms

"we've been great actually!" jisung smiles 

"seems like it" hyunjin smiles looking at the happy couple 

"what about you and alana?" felix asks 

"we've been good too shes so cute shes always surprising me with gifts and i just really love her" hyunjin smiles thinking of alana 

"awww" jisung pouts putting his hand on his heart

hyunjin had his next class with jeongin, it was also his last period, he sat down at his desk waiting for other students to walk in since it was quiet and there were only five students including him in the classroom.

he sighed and rested his head on his palm, he looked at the door and saw a red head boy walk into the class room. he looked devastated and his nose was red, you can tell that he was crying, he sat down on his desk and looked down on the desk. 

hyunjin walked up to the boy and kneeled down to face the boy. 

"jeongin..." hyunjin said with a sad tone 

"yeah" jeongins eyes were glossy 

"is everything ok, baby?" hyunjin asks

"n-no" jeongin said having the urge to cry again 

"what happened? come on lets go outside" hyunjin seemed concerned and tilted his head to go outside the classroom

jeongin followed hyunjin through the school hall until they made it to the school garden.

"here, sit" hyunjin patted the bench seat next to him. jeongin nodded and sat down next to him 

"now, whats wrong baby?" 

jeongin took a deep sigh, it was kind of shaky that you can tell he was crying.

"my mum wants us to move to america" he managed to let out before breaking down again

"what? why is that?" hyunjin hugged jeongin who stained his uniform with tears 

"my mum and dad got divorced last month, my dad was the one who mostly payed for us financially and now that hes gone my mum doesn't have that much money to pay for our bills so she has no choice then to just make us move in with our aunt in california. please ever since they got divorced shes just been stress drinking and blaming it on me i can't take it anymore, hyunjin. my life is just going downhill." jeongin hiccuped and continued to cry on hyunjin 

"baby, calm down please. you'll be ok i promise. there might be a lot happening right now but trust me it'll be better. if you actually move to california we'll miss you a lot but we won't forget about you." hyunjin looked at jeongin and smiled softly

"no it isn't!" jeongin sobbed 

"hey. look at me, breathe" hyunjin started "everything is going to be ok, relax. everything that's happening right now, we'll get through this together. i promise, baby" 

"y-you called me baby"

"it calmed you down"

"come here let out everything" hyunjin pulled jeongin into a hug again

jeongin cried on hyunjin for about thirty minutes. they were late to class but they decided to skip.

"you ok now?" hyunjin asked and jeongin lazily nodded 

"wanna go to my house?" hyunjin said softly and jeongin nodded lazily again 

"ok lets go"

"but class-" hyunjin interrupted "who cares"

jisung and felix waited for hyunjin and jeongin to get out of class to find out they weren't there 

"did they leave before us?" jisung peeped his head into the class 

"probably lets go check" felix grabbed jisung's hand

they walked through the hall until they reached the front of the school.

"they probably ditched?" jisung shrugged 

"bet" felix took out his phone as jisung back hugged him 

"hey did you guys ditch?" felix asked looking around to make sure they weren't just hiding 

"yeah we left early because of stuff we're at my house" hyunjin yawned

"ohh alright we'll be there" felix nodded as jisung rested his head on felix's shoulder

"alright bye" hyunjin replied ending the call sounding like he was stretching 

felix put his phone back in his pocket and sighed "alright" he started "we're going to hyunjin's house" he smiled and jisung nodded
