𝗦𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗪𝗢𝗞𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗔 𝗟𝗢𝗨𝗗 𝗚𝗔𝗦𝗣, cold sweat running along her body.

Despite waking up only a few seconds ago, her eyes were wide open and held no feeling of exhaustion. Perhaps it was due to the nightmare that repeated anytime she fell asleep, or perhaps it was because three hours of rest was simply enough for her now. With those two thoughts being at the top of her head, she did not feel like thinking into it any more than that. Her head was already a jumbled mess as it was, she felt no need to make it worse by pondering over possibilities on why her eyes did not droop tiredly or weigh a hundred pounds.

Her hands balled into fists; her blanket fabric being pulled into a small bunch due to her hands as she stared at the ceiling of her bedroom. She had forgotten why she disliked sleeping – well, not the entirety of why she disliked it. She knew it was because she had trouble with horrible memories of her past and her past-doings. She knew they were a memory that she could never run away from no matter how hard she tried, but the recent cause of the phobia was the nightmare she seemed to continuously have. For the past two years, it seemed to be a punishment in which her thoughts on the matter were brought to light in the nightmare. Due to that, she hadn't been getting much sleep.
