Ghost girl

You don't need a mask to dress up for Halloween,

I'm already invisible,

The girl who can't be seen.

I'm just a leaf on the ground,

Who fell from a tree,

Being swept by the wind,

Unsure of where I'll be.

I have no friends,

Unless you count the boy next door,

We talked for a little,

He doesn't live there anymore...

I don't have any siblings,

Just me, myself, and I,

I hate being alone in the apocalypse,

It makes me want to cry.

I know I'll be eaten by a zombie,

Possibly three,

I'll then turn into one of them,

Walking like a zombie with crippled feet.

I sometimes feel like a ghost,

So I pinch myself on the arm,

Wondering if it's real life,

But I do not mean any harm.

It's hard being alone,

Especially when you only have one friend,

Who's invisible just like you,

A ghost kid, who's name happens to be Ben.

You feel just like them empty and without energy,

Wanting to take over a soul,

And leave them Invisible,

Somewhat like me.

But I don't know why I am who I am,

Why can't I seem to appear real,

I have a heart, and a body like you,

With a brain, filled with emotions I feel.
