when the fangs go out of hiding
gleam flashes bright
the normals, as they think they are
they run away
scared and disgusted
when the wolves come running
only at the times they felt safest
free and at their natural
wild but never beastly
the normals, as they believe they are
shoot and scram as if it's no big deal
falsely thinking they are the highest being
when the thoughts go pushing
they make you want to fight it
but also go inside and hide
or let them take over
and even if you think
that is the first time you would have to die
it is wrong
like many other things
this world had put you through
—somewhere you do not belong
and the normals,
as you see they behave
might be better at pretending
than the broken soul you already are
