These simple words can't express the great gratitude I owe to the readers of this short story. The 1K milestone is overwhelming to me as a growing writer on this platform. Truly a great accomplishment. Now, settling the age old question: Why female? Honestly, it all tied down to the fact I like exploring a ship that was esentially gay to having one of them switch genders. Not to mention I find it difficult writing gay fanfic in general for myself, no offense to the other writers and beloved readers! ((Also, yes, I was really happy when Asagiri-sensei stated that Atsushi was supposed to be female and that Akutagawa chased her everywhere for her hand in marriage.))
