~Michelles POV
Hayes and I waited up until 10.
"Time to go to the airport hayes!" Elizabeth shouts
"Ok mom!" Hayes shouts back
Hayes and I get up from his bed and change.
I put on a pair of jeans and a black Ed Sheeran hoodie, my hair was down loose and I slid in my converse.
Hayes had on his dark grey hoodie and a pair of dark jeans, along with his vans.
I grab one of his suit cases and he grabs the other, we make our way to the car and put them in the trunk.
"Ready?" I say with a sigh
"Ya, I'm ready." Hayes says, opening the car door, signaling me to go in
I nod and go in first, hayes sits next to me and skylynn sits next to nash. Elizabeth starts the car and nash hops in the passenger seat.
"Are you going to have a ride back home Michelle?" Elizabeth asks me
"Ya, my aunt lives like right next to the airport, so she can pick me up and I can stay with her" I say
Elizabeth nods and begins driving.
I looked over at hayes, he looked really upset. I laid my head on his shoulder and he smiled.
"I love you hayes" I say rapping my arms around his stomach
"I love you more" , "I really do." Hayes says holding me in his arms
*1 hours later*
We finally arrive at the airport and we all get down, each of us take a suit case and we head towards the entrance.
Right when we get in we hear a speaker call out, "Gate 10, flight to New York City is now boarding!"
"Oh that's us! We better go!" Elizabeth says, rushing to gate 10
We all follow behind her Until we meet the entrance.
"Well this is it." Hayes says
I look at the ground, trying to hold in my tears
Elizabeth hugs me goodbye as well as nash and skylynn
"Gonna miss you beautiful" nash whispers in my ear
"I'm gonna miss you to nash" I say hugging him tight
"Bye." He says as they all make their way into the plane, except for hayes.
"I'm gonna miss you hayes" I say, "try not to forget about me"
"I'm gonna miss you to. And trust me, I couldn't if I wanted to"
I slightly smile, looking into hayes' eyes, I feel a part of me break inside and I get that really horrible crying feeling in my throat.
"I can't do this hayes." I say completely breaking down into tears. "I'm not strong enough"
"Hey, hey, it's ok babe", "this isn't goodbye" hayes says holding my chin up
"Hayes I love you to much to let you go." I say cuddling into his arms
"I do to. And I'm literally dying inside.", "I'm just trying to be brave, for you." Hayes says resting his Chin on the top of my head and wrapping his arms around me
"Flight to New York taking off at 12, current time 11:45" we hear the speaker call out
Hayes and I look at each other.
"You better go." I say whiling my tears away
Hayes nods, "yea. I guess it's time." He says looking at his feet
I look into his eyes to see tears slowly falling down his cheek, it broke me so much. He was trying to be strong for me, but he couldn't. God I love him.
I while his tears away with my thumb and he grabs my cheeks with both his large hands.
He presses our lips together and for a moment I felt like there was no one else there, just us.
As we pull away, hayes looks into my eyes and manages to let out his final sentence.
"I'm not going to say goodbye, because I know we'll meet again", "but for know, 'see you later'."
I nod as a tear slips down my cheek, "see you later".
