Chapter 18 The Winter Soldier

Steve had the idea to take Sitwell back to Triskelion, which you didn't quite like the idea but then again you didn't have a better idea and this was going to have to do. Your eyes looked to Steve in the front with Sam while you and Natasha sat in the bad with Sitwell at one side of the doors. And he just wouldn't shut up! He kept talking but you wondered if he was talking so much because he wanted you all to get annoyed with him and let him loose. Which wasn't gonna happen.

"H.Y.D.R.A doesn't like leaks" Sitwell spoke again casing Sam to clench his hands around the steering wheel huffing. Honestly you don't blame him for being so upset.

"So why don't you try sticking a cork in it?" He peered at Sitwell from the rear view mirror before looking back at the road focusing on it while Natasha just rolled her eyes.

"Insight's launching in sixteen hours, we're cutting it a little bit close here guys" she looked to Steve as he nodded with a slight sigh leaving his lips.

"I know, We'll use him to bypass the DNA scans and access the Helicarriers directly" Steve looked back at you and Natasha now as you just stared at him.

"You think that'll work how will we even get down there?" You looked at Steve with curious eyes before Sitwell spoke over you suddenly.

"What?! Are you crazy? That is a terrible, terrible idea!" Sitwell shouted nearly barking at Steve and you couldn't help but turn to look at him unhappily.

"You got a better idea?! We know it's crazy!" You huffed a but crossing your arms feeling like an angry child in the moment before nearly screaming as the car window was shattered on his side. Steve turned violently watching as a hand reached in and yanked Sitwell out throwing him into the street immediately killing him now. Gun shots started to sound as the man started shooting at the car causing you and Natasha to let out some sort of scream sound trying to keep your selves from getting shot now. In desperation Steve yanked the emergency break suddenly causing the car to jolt back suddenly sending the man flying into the street. But the victory was short lasted as another car on the highway pushed into your car suddenly sending it forward along the road more. You couldn't tell if this person actually couldn't stop their car or if they were just more H.Y.D.R.A agents backing this guy up. You turned your head out the window in the back seeing the guy suddenly standing up and walking back towards you all hastily getting on top of he car making the roof dent in the slightest.

"GET HIM OFF!!" Natasha shouted at Sam as he tried to steer the car to wiggle who ever was on top of.

"IM TRYING! GIVE ME A LITTLE CREDIT!" Sam shouted right back at her before he screamed as the hand shattered the windscreen ripping the steering wheel right out of he car and right out of sams hands leaving you all with no way to drive the car. "OH SHIT!" Sam couldn't help but cuss out at the moment and honestly you didn't blame him as you watched Steve unbuckle suddenly. All the while Natasha was trying to shoot back at the guy before stopping seeing Steve had a plan.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" You shouted at him over the loud sounds as your breathing quickened.

"Hang on!" Was all his response was to you as he had you scoot over with Natasha as Sam wormed his way into the back flashing a smile at Natasha as he grabbed onto her,which made her roll her eyes, as she cling to Steve and you on Steve's other side as he kicked the car door open gripping the top of it before it came off the car sliding across the street now. When more H.Y.D.R.A agents had joined the battled you didn't know but at the moment you didn't care as Steve guided you with him using the door to shield you both while Sam and Natasha dashed in different directions. They were shooting heavily at all of you and Natasha had to do something pulling out her gun again and shooting at the man as he shot at her. Maybe she got lucky or maybe it was her good aim but she shot at his goggles shattering one of the dark tinted lens shattering it a bit.
