41. finland: look away - darude ft. sebastian rejman
i didn't like this at all. there was something very off for me and i think darude should have stayed with sandstorm. i didn't like sebastian's voice either, and i couldn't stand the way he pronounced "look away"
40. san marino: say na na na - serhat nah, just no. i don't like it. serhat's voice is horrible and the song has no menaing at all
39. iceland: hatrid mun sigra - hatari just not my cup of tea, too much scremaing, but definitely better vocals than the other two xD
38. georgia: sul tsin iare - oto nemsadze too aggressive for my taste
37. austria: limits -paenda it just annoyed me tbh
36. montenegro: heaven - d-mol
cute, but nothing grand final worthy
35. germany: sister - s!sters
again, too aggressive singing for me and just a horrible song. in the beginning i kinda liked it, but now, listening to it a few more times, i hate it
34. belarus: like it - zena
i don't know what to say to this, no overwhelming song and no overwhelming voice
33. croatia: the dream - roko
i liked it, but it was too over the top with the lyrics and the angel wings. his vocals were on point though
32. moldova: stay -anna odobescu
i'm neutral to this one, too much for me
31. denmark: love is forever - leonora
way too cheesy for me, i mean, i like cheesy things, but this was just too much
30. estonia: storm - victor crone
i have a love-hate-relationship with this, it's a bop and a flop at the same time for me
29. cyprus: replay - tamta
good song, bad live vocals in my opinion
28. malta: chameleon - michela
the same as with cyprus
27. north macedonia: proud - tamara todevska
she has a great voice, but i think the theme of feminism and female empowerment is just too overused nowadays
26. ireland: 22 - sarah mcternan
i just like it, pretty good vocals, cute song
25. france: roi - bilal hassani
i expected more from his live performance, so it was kind of a let down for me. it was on place 16 before.
24. armenia: walking out - srbuk
i liked this and don't get why it didn't qualify for the final
23. israel: home - kobi marimi
a good song, good vocals, but his crying on stage was just a huge no-go for me. it made me like him so much less
22. belgium: wake up - eliot
this is a cute song, slow and entertaining
21. slovenia: sebi - zala&gasper
this grew so much on me. i really like it now. although gasper's stare at zala is still so creepy
20. latvia: that night - carousel
i really liked this, slow, quite and good quality
19. romania: on a sunday - ester peony
just a very good song with a good singer, i liked this
18. united kingdom: bigger than us - michael rice
this deserved so much more than last place. i really liked this and enjoyed listening to it
17. switzerland: she got me - luca hänni
not my kind of genre, although it was a good song. live vocals threw me off a bit
16. russia: scream - sergey lazarev
i really really liked this and it would have had the potential to win, if there wasn't something that was too much about this song
15. albania: ktheju tokes - jonida maliqi
good song, amazing voice, i enjoyed listening to this
14. hungary: az en apam - joci papai
this was so beautiful, i loved it. i love it when people sing in their native language
13. portugal: telemoveis - conan osiris
this was something so different, i really liked it. so refreshing
12. poland: pali sie (fire of love) - tulia
this was a masterpiece of expressing polish culture, it was amazing
11. serbia: kruna - nevena bozovic
i just loved this, nothing more to say
10. spain: la venda - miki
this is a great summer-bop, i would listen to this on a party and be happy with it. don't know why it finished so low
9. greece: better love - katerine duska
yes, this was good, amazing vocals, i love katerine. i loved this song so much
8. australia: zero gravity - kate miller-heidke
i'm normally not into opera, but this is a masterpiece. i love the mix between pop and opera and the staging was amazing
7. sweden: too late for love - john lundvik
i don't know why everyone is alwaye annoyed about sweden being so high every year. they just do quality songs almost every time and i live for it. this is an amazing song
6. azerbaijan: truth - chingiz
i loved this, just wonderful
5. czech republic: friend of a friend - lake malawi
the cutest song ever, i love it. an amazing song and albert is so adorable. loved it
4. norway: spirit in the sky - keiino
an amazing song, i love the different styles and voices and the message is great
3. italy: soldi - mahmood
i love the meaning behind it, it's so touching even though i don't understand italian. and mahmood is just amazing. i live for this song
2. lithuania: run with the lions - jurij veklenko
this is my absolute guilty pleasure, i am so in love with the song and jurij. he is, for me, the most handsome man this year. it's a shame it didn't qualify. i also love the difference between his low speaking voice and his high singing voice. this is everything i wanted and i hate the russian and italian jury for screwing this up. it would have been before denmark if they weren't too stupid to count points and get their ranking right. sorry for the rant, but i just had to do that.
1. the netherlands: arcade - duncan laurence
this is a true masterpiece, so special, amazing and great. the meaning, the lyrics, the vocals, everything is so touching and it gives me goosebumps every time i listen to it. this is everything we ever needed in a song. it will always have a special place in my heart
