"Sophie! Time to get up!" Grady yelled from downstairs.

"I'm up!" I yelled. I got up, yawned, and  groaned, remembering what I agreed to yesterday. I got up and rubbed Iggy's back. "Morning Iggy. You're lucky you don't have to go visit the Royals." I said, rolling my eyes. I got up and went into my closet to choose. If I was going to visit the Royals, I was going to wear what I wanted.

I ended up choosing a pale pink crop top and ripped jeans that fade from white to black (top to bottom). I tied my hair into a ponytail and kept it on my right shoulder. I had white sneakers that had black outlines. Because I wanted something to keep my mouth busy, I took out some gum and started chewing it. I quickly placed my earbuds in and slipped my IPod into my pocket as best as I could.

"Sophie! Are you done yet?" Edaline yelled from downstairs.

"Coming!" I yelled back. I quickly brushed my hair to make sure it looked okay. I ran down and Edaline looked at my clothes.

"Let's go! We need to go now!" Grady yelled from outside. We quickly ran outside to the Leapmaster. "The Palace!" Grady yelled when we grabbed hands. We appeared in front of the huge palace and it took all my energy not to snarl. The Palace was made of riches while some other people outside were suffering.

"Let's go ring the doorbell!" Edaline said, dragging me to the gate.

"State your name and purpose here." the guard in the front said.

"Edaline, Grady, and Sophie Ruewen. The King and Queen wanted us to bring our daughter to see Prince Fitz, Princess Biana, and their friend Keefe." Grady said. I rolled my eyes where the guard couldn't see as he looked over us

"You may go in." the guard said, letting us in. We got into the Palace and the guard called out, "The Ruewen family is here to see you!" Queen Della immediately came running down the crystal staircase, blinking in and out of sight because she is a Vanisher..

"Edaline!" Queen Della squealed.

"Your Highness." Edaline and Grady said, bowing. I slowly backed into the shadows as Della giggled.

"Oh you know you don't have to do that! You're my friend!" she said. Edaline and Grady got back up and was smiling brightly.

"It's good to see you Della." Edalin said, hugging the Queen.

"Oh it's my pleasure! Let me get the kids! Fitz! Biana! Keefe!" Della yelled behind her. Soon, three kids came running down the stairs. The only one I recognized was Biana, blinking in and out of sight like her mother. I quickly closed my eyes and opened my mind to hers.

You have to act like how you did when we first met. Don't know anything about me, but hates me because you think I'm going to use you to get close to your brother. I transmitted. I read her mind after.

Sure but can you never bring up the hating you because of my brother thing? It makes me feel guilty and annoyed.

I smirked and transmitted, Sure.

"Oh! You're kids look about my daughters age! And so mature!" Edaline said, clasping her hands together.

"Where's the girl?" the one named Keefe asked. I let out a quiet laugh from that and the others looked in my direction.

"I'm guessing from the quiet laugh that she's over there." Edaline said, stifling a laugh.

"Sophie, come out." Grady said. I shook my head in the shadows, knowing the others couldn't see me. I felt someone push me and I stumbled out of the shadows. I glared behind me at Sandor, who was smirking at me. I turned to realize that everyone was staring at me. ESPECIALLY Prince Fitz. It was making me uncomfortable.
