"Biana?" Linh asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"I want to go back." I blurted. Sophie's head snapped toward me.
"Are you kidding me?!" she exclaimed. She jumped up and stared at me with shock in her eyes.
"Not like staying there!" I said quickly. "Like... I miss the feeling of home I had there. And like.... See how everyone's doing..." I murmured, looking down. Sophie sighed.
"Sorry for jumping to conclusions. I was just afraid." she said.
"You have every right to..." Marella murmured.
"Well... I feel like we have to check on Enternalia some time. We DO have some unfinished business there..." Tam said, walking into the room with his arms crossed.
"Agreed." Dex said as he smiled sadly. Sophie sighed as if she was struggling with her feelings and decisions.
"Fine. For a quick look." she said sharply. I squealed and pulled her into a tight hug. She laughed and hugged me back. "Everyone, get your cloaks on. We're going for a little field trip." she announced.
"Hey Moonlark...." Linh said. "Don't we have to go to some school event tonight? Because Mr. Forkle said it will be strange if we don't go to any events from our own school?" she asked timidly. Sophie groaned.
Right.... We're in our second to last year in Foxfire, but apparently.... Humans are stupid. They wouldn't let us go into any grade higher than the last year of high school.
"Put what you're wearing to the event under the cloak. We'll drop off the hoods before going straight there." she said. "Stupid events." she muttered under her breath. We quickly changed.
