It had been 1 month since Peter had became a Parker-Romanoff. Tony and Flash was still in coma, but he didn't care. He went back to Midtown and lived happily with his family, all the Avengers minus Tony. The whole team bar Tony had shifted out of the Compound and bought a small but big enough to fit the whole team house.
Peter was touched that the Avengers had taken him in although he had been a jerk for that 2 months. Ned had forgiven him and was still the guy in the chair. MJ hated the Avengers, especially the Black Widow for putting her boyfriend in coma. MJ hated Peter, took over the bullying role, but Peter didn't care. Peter ignored MJ.
Today was another boring day. "Parker!" An all to familiar voice shouted. Peter turned around. "Yes, Michelle?" He sighed. MJ- Michelle- had not allowed Peter to call her MJ anymore.
"Who cares if your mom is the oh-so 'awesome' Black Widow huh? She killed innocent people, loser. She's a murderer." Michelle sneered. Yeah, the whole school knew about the adoption. But he couldn't care less.
Right now he was really pissed off with what Michelle said. "Michelle Jones." He snarled. "Let me say this once. My mom is not a murderer. She did not kill innocent people!"
"Whatever." She scoffed, walking away.
Peter and Ned made their way to class. Midway during the class, the door opened and a certain redhead popped her head in.
(Italics is Russian.)
"Little Spider, I need you to come right now."
"Why?"
"Tony's awake. He's asking for you."
That was all Peter need to shoot up from his seat. "Why?" He asked again. Natasha shrugged. "Not sure. Come out, let's go."
Peter nodded and packed his bag. The teacher begrudgingly let him go when Natasha shot her a death glare.
Peter slung his bag over his shoulders before scampering out of the door. Natasha quickly led him to her bike.
"Come on." Natasha said. Peter sat at the back of the bike, arms wrapped around Natasha.
"Мама паук, what does Ton to wants?" Peter asked softly.
"I'm not sure, baby spider. He just keep asking for you." Was the reply.
Th two spiders soon reached the hospital. Natasha pulled Peter into the hospital and into one of the rooms. Inside, was Pepper, Rhodey, and Tony.
Tony was lying on the bed. He looked up when Natasha and Peter entered.
"Pete." He whispered softly.
"Don't think you can just 'Pete' me." Peter snapped without thinking. "S-sorry. Didn't mean to snap." Peter added, less harsh.
"It's fine. Look, I'm really sorry, Peter. I really am. I guess you could say I have been a jerk." Tony ran a hand through his head.
Peter sighed. "I know, Mr Stark. I really want to forgive you... but, you replaced me. With my bully. I'm not sure if I can forgive that."
Tony sighed too. "I'm sorry Peter." He said again.
"Mr Stark," Peter started off hesitantly, "It... it would take a while for me to forgive you. Maybe it's best if we don't see each other anymore. I'll still go for missions with you guys, but maybe not as often."
Tony nodded sadly. "You... you don't want to intern for me anymore?"
"Yeah." Peter replied.
Tony bit his lip to stop himself from crying. His ex-adopted son just rejected him. But he kinda had to expect that, after all, he had been a jerk to Peter.
Peter waved goodbye to Tony. "Bye Mr Stark." He then followed Natasha out of the door.
Tony laid on his bed, feeling super sad. He wished he hadn't been a jerk; then his Peter would still be his. But because of all his stupid actions, Peter was now Natasha's.
Tony regretted his actions. He continued his work at SI, but can't stop thinking about Peter. He would think things like, what's Peter doing? Is he okay? Did he get injured on patrol?
Meanwhile, with the Avengers-minus-Tony, Peter was having a fun. He was in his room playing LEGOs with Ned. The Tony problem disappeared from his mind. It was as if Tony hadn't exist at all. But maybe that was better.
