New Kids

(The next day)

"They have been informed, right?" Ben's assistant asked as Ben was heading out.

"Yes. Jane made sure of that." Ben told her.

"You need anything else before you leave?" She checked.

"I'm good." Ben answered and walked out.

Ben was about to get into the limo when he saw Mal. She started walking to him, but then Rose ran up to him.

"Hey Rose." Ben greeted her.

"Where you heading?" Rose asked curiously.

"I'm going to the isle to pick up the new kids." Ben told Rose.

"Can I come?" Rose wondered.

"Well I'm supposed to bring Mal." Ben looked behind Rose at Mal.

"Didn't she break up with you though?" Rose questioned.

"Yeah she did." Ben replied nodding.

"And you still want her to come with you?" Rose also asked.

"Yeah you're right. Well let's get going. Don't want to keep our new kids waiting." Ben said and opened the door for Rose.

Mal stood there watching them get in.

"Hey Mal." Audrey walked up to Mal.

"Hey." Mal looked over, then back at the limo.

"What's wrong?" Audrey asked.

"That." Mal pointed to Rose and Ben getting in the limo.

"Ben and Rose getting in a limo together?" Audrey wondered.

"Yeah. That's suppose to be me going with him." Mal said.

"Where they going?" Audrey kept watching them.

"To the isle to get new kids. But I should be going I'm his fiance." Mal explained.

"No Mal. You're his ex- fiance." Audrey reminded her.

"But what if I don't want to be anymore?" Mal said.

"You don't want to what anymore?" Audrey questioned.

"Be his ex- fiance anymore." Mal answered.

"What, but Mal you need to find yourself first." Audrey told her.

"I did. And I belong with Ben." Mal stated. 

"So what are you gonna do then?" Audrey wondered.

"I don't know, but I'm gonna figure that out." Mal replied.

(On the isle)

"Here we are." Ben said stepping out.

"It's a bit messed up." Rose commented as she got out.

"Yeah well my parents didn't make it the nicest place in the world." Ben added.

"Yeah I can see that." Rose stated.

"Come on." Ben grabbed Rose's hand and started walking.

"How come there's one building that's nice?" Rose pointed to a nice, tall building.

"That's where the guards that stay here live. It's break proof. So no bad guys can get in." Ben explained. "Now come on."

"Here they are King Ben." A guard said standing behind three teenagers.

"Thank you." Ben said. "It's good to meet you all. I'm Ben." Ben held out a hand to them.

They all looked at each other confused, then at Ben with the same look.
