Saturday morning, the Good Hair Crew all sat in their usual table at the Spoon. TJ, Luke, Dylan, Andi, Buffy, Marty, Jonah, Grey, and Cyrus were all there. The only one who hadn't come was Leah.

"Any idea why Leah didn't show today?" Buffy asked curiously. The question wasn't specifically directed at anyone, but everyone looked to Dylan. He noticed their stares, and shrugged.

"Sorry, guys, she didn't tell me she was skipping either," Dylan told them. "I'm sure she had a good reason though."

"You didn't do something stupid did you?" Andi asked him skeptically.

"Like profess your undying love," Luke suggested.

"For the millionth time, we are just friends," Dylan reminded him. "And no, I didn't do anything stupid."

"Okay, well I guess we can ask her Monday," Andi decided.

"Yeah, so anyway Jonah how is it going with Will?" Buffy asked him.

"Good. Really good," Jonah replied, smiling. "We just started holding hands."

"Aww, what a cute and wholesome relationship," Luke joked, wiggling his eyebrows.

"Well you know me," Jonah joked. "I am a holy child of God." The group nodded unconvinced.

"Yep, just about as cute and wholesome as Leah and Dylan's romantic relationship," Luke added.

Dylan scoffed, "Please, Leah and I would have-" he paused as he noticed the entire group grinning at him. "I now realize that keeping my mouth shut is safer than trying to argue with you," Dylan hypothesized.

"Wise choice, mi amigo," Luke replied.

"I thought so, Anyway have you and Leah finished your English assignment?" Dylan asked him.

"Not yet, I think we're meeting up Tuesday morning," Luke answered him.

"And Leah's okay with finishing the assignment right before the due date?" Dylan asked surprised. "That doesn't sound like her."

"Yeah, I was surprised too. Normally she isn't a fan of procrastinating, but she actually suggested we do it then." Luke explained.

"Huh, well okay then," Dylan hesitated.

"You're sure she's okay?" Andi asked, also aware that this wasn't like her.

"Not really," Dylan admitted. "I think she's keeping something from me, but I don't know what."

"Yeah she has been acting a little weird lately," Luke noted.

"Do you guys think something is wrong?" Grey asked worriedly.

"No idea," Andi replied. "But Dylan you should talk to her just in case." Dylan nodded. Later that day, Dylan stopped by Leah's house to check on her. She didn't answer the door to his surprise because he was pretty sure he saw a light on in her room. He tried the door, but it was locked, and for some reason he didn't have her key on him.

Monday morning, the GHC gathered at one of the cafeteria tables, waiting for the bell. No one had seen or heard from Leah since Friday which had worried them, but now she was talking and laughing with them as if nothing had happened. Maybe nothing had, they considered. Dylan pulled Leah aside to talk to her.

"Hey Leah are you free tonight?" Dylan asked her. "You don't have to stay over or anything, but I could make dinner and we could just talk about what's going on with you."

"Sorry Dyl, I can't," Leah told him. "I'm really busy, but if it helps, nothing's going on with me."

"Are you sure because you didn't show at the Spoon, and when I went to your house Saturday to check on you, you didn't answer the door."
