This is the day
I walk at the aisle
As I look around
Our eyes met
He's standing
beyond the altar
"What a handsome man
in gray tuxedo"
Time slowed as
I got closer
He smiled widely
As he stared behind me
Is his bride
He held his hand
Offering his love
And she gracefully accepted it
Their vows and I do's
Are proofs of forever
I can't help to cry
In pain and happiness
I just witnessed
The man I love
marrying someone he loves
I smiled bitterly
Accepting defeat
