good things don't come all in a row

my heart a fire lit.
my brain not a war.
the sky does not drip.
the sun burns on and on.

my feet in the sand.
the rain never pours.
it feels like a rainbow.
but those don't last long.

the good and the good.
repel like like ends.
if only bad and bad could too.

i won't see a thing.
