I reluctantly follow after my brother as we walk into the lunch hall, listening to everyone whisper, and stare at us as we do so. I spot our usual table, and see the group staring directly at us. Usually I'd walk over with a smile on my face, but I can't exactly do that when I know what Jughead is about to do.

I decided to stop protesting against him doing it, since he had already made his mind up, and I was just wasting my breath trying to convince him otherwise. So instead I decided to just follow after him. I didn't have anywhere else to go except perhaps the Wyrm, but I wasn't really in the mood for that atmosphere.

I stand closely behind Jughead as he finally approaches Cheryl's table. She looks up at him, teary eyed, awaiting what he's going to say as everyone else is. "I'm sorry, Cheryl." He says, softly.

Cheryl then rises to her feet, looking into the eyes of my brother before slapping him across the face. I gasp as she then begins to hit him across the chest, as tears begin to stream down her face. I knew this was going to happen. Why couldn't he have just listened to me?

Archie then pulls Cheryl off of my brother, and I watch as the ginger then storms off in anger. I don't blame her, I think to myself as we hear Principal Weatherbee scream at the top of his lungs to stop.

"Vex and Jughead, you need to come with me. Right now." He tells us and I roll my eyes, groaning.

Jughead begins to follow after Weatherbee, and I look at Archie, noticing he's about to protest so I shake my head, telling him not to, before walking after the two to his office.

"I thought the two of you weren't coming in today." Weatherbee asks us, after we have taken a seat in his office. We wouldn't be in this position if Jughead had just listened to me. I get that he's upset, but so am I. I'm in the exact same position as him and I'm not acting like an idiot. And because he is, I'm getting in trouble for it.

"Hey, I thought you and Jughead weren't coming in." Archie asks me as I take books out from my locker, after my second interrogation of the day for doing nothing wrong whatsoever. I look up at him then rapidly back to my locker, not wanting to interact with him at all.

"We weren't supposed to, until this idiot decided he wanted to apologize to Cheryl for god know's why." I tell him, as I then slam my locker shut and begin to walk down the hall. Unfortunately for me, he follows me.

"I was, uh wondering if we could talk about last night?" Archie asks me and I scoff.

"I get that I was drunk out of my mind, but I meant every word." I tell him as I continue walking.

"Look, I get that you're mad at me but that doesn't mean that we still can't be friends." He grabs my arm, stopping me and turning me to face him. What the hell does 'friends' mean to him? To both of us?

"You broke into my house, and looked for evidence of my dad being a murderer and you want to be friends?" I scoff. "You're living in a fantasy world. You North siders always have shit to say about us South siders being horrible people and criminals, when in reality, you're just as bad. Hell, maybe worse." I spit, then shake his hand off my arm and speed off.
