Rainfall is -to some- a symbol of the cold, crisp downfall after the culmination of varied situations. In romantic media rain is often used to aid in the emphasis of how the main characters are struggling to realize the truth of their miscommunication. Since the sun is considered a symbol of truth, it is like all in life; The clouds of misunderstanding must clear the way for the dawn of unveiled truths. The rain however, is often cold and unpleasant so even though the rain is a chariot for the appreciation of the sun it is, in more ways than one, a symbol of cleansing. So I cherish the rain, for I know that the rainbow is more than the light reflecting off the rain at a 40* angle, it is a beautiful gift that we can only perceive between the moments of unveiling the truth- and accepting the truth.
