We arrived at the competition and the only thing on my mind was my solo.
"Alright Mackenzie and Kendall you two are the first ones up!" Abby calls
Maddie waddles to the audience with my mother to watch me dance. I felt a rush of nerves go through my body.
"Kendall, I don't remember something." I whisper
"What part?" she whispers back
"After the toe touch."
"The arm shakes." chloe appears
"What are you doing here?" I ask
"This was my solo I couldn't miss it." she chuckles
"Thanks chloe."
"Now welcome to the In10sity stage act number 20!" Booms the speakers
I walk on to the stage and pose.
I do the toe touch.
Arm shakes
I did it! My solo complete.
