It's been just a little over an hour and a lot of Josh's friends has pitched up.
Everyone just talked for about two-three hours and then Josh and Maya went home.

"Tell me how you can talk to people like nothing is wrong while your world is falling apart," Josh says as he opens the car door.
"I'm used to putting on an act. That's all," Maya said.
"No. You didn't even look like you were acting," Josh said.

"Where have you been?" Riley ambushed them with questions.
"You know I told you guys I'm taking Maya to meet my friends," Josh said.
"We all left at two. It is now six," Cory said.
"How much catching up did you have?" Riley asked.

"Give the poor guy a break. He did nothing wrong."
"You enjoyed it?" Cory asked.
"It wasn't bad. How about some coffee?" Maya asked.
"That will be nice thanks Maya," Josh said.

"I have to pick up Auggie. Be good."
"Always," Riley said and Cory left.

"What are we doing?" Riley asks and Maya gives Josh his coffee.
"Don't know. What about you help me with dinner?"
"Okay."

Riley and Maya then starts dinner and then Cory arrives.
He and Josh keeps Auggie busy while the girls finish up dinner.
When they're done Topanga pitched up.

"What's that smell?" Topanga asks.
"Maya and Riley made dinner. Can you believe it?" Cory said.
"I can't. Thanks girls," Topanga said then Maya's phone rang.
"Excuse me," Maya said and went outside.

"Hi Mom."
"Where are you? At the Matthews?" Katy asked.
"Yes. I'm there," Maya said.
"When you get back wait for me. We have a few things to discuss," Katy said.
"Do we have to do it tonight?" Maya asked.
"Yes. See you later," Katy said and dropped the phone.

Maya knew she had to talk to her mom but didn't want to.
She went back in the apartment and smiled.
But of course Josh noticed something was wrong.
She wasn't her cheerful self but no one thought she was.
