It's Wednesday, 19 July.
Maya is still in Manhattan and now everyone knows she is there.
Riley still doesn't know why but what she does know is that Maya is going to explain a lot of stuff to her.

"Why isn't she answering her phone?" Riley asked.

She was with Josh and Lucas.
The rest of the gang were at family.

"Maybe she just needs time to think," Lucas said.
"I was at her place. Her mom said she is in Manhattan and that she'll only be back by tomorrow. Why? Why is she in Manhattan?"
"You can ask her tomorrow," Josh said.
"Oh I will. That I promise you," Riley said.

Josh kept wondering why Maya just left and that wa smaybe because she couldn't face Riley.
But the appointment was not until a week when she left.
She left one week earlier and that made him wonder a lot.
Why did she do that?
He'll never know until he speaks to her personally.

Back in Manhattan

Maya was busy packing and she definitely wasn't ready for the adjustment.
She did enjoy every moment but what will happen with her and Josh?
Only she knows.

"Okay you all packed?" Kermit asked.
"I am. Thank you for letting me stay here," Maya said as she put a T-shirt in her suitcase.
"Pleasure and come again. I love having my daughter here."
"I will. I promise," Maya said.
"Why did you come earlier?" Kermit asked.
"Boy problems," Maya said.
"Ah what boy problems? Wait I don't want to know," Kermit said.
"I'll be down in a second," Maya said.

She knows that she has to contact Josh but she doesn't have the strength.
But she'll know what to do when she gets to Greenwich.

A bit later still in Manhattan

"So what are you going to do back in Greenwich? Your mother said you have lots of friends," Kermit said as Caroline handed out coffee.
"I'm not quite sure. I think I'll relax till school starts again. I am in my junior year next year and all my friends are excited," Maya said.
"And you?" Caroline ask.
"Not that much," Maya said.
"How long have you known your friends?" Kermit asked.
"Me and Riley have known each other since I was five. Me and Farkle met when I was seven. I met Lucas when I was thirteen. We've always known Smackle and we met Zay when I was fourteen. It was about the end of our middle school career. And I've known Josh since I was five as well. He is Riley's eighteen year old uncle. Also the boy I've told you about," Maya said.
"Is he... Like dodgy?" Kermit asked.
"No Josh is really a angel. I just have a few arguments. That's all."
"What about a song?" Caroline asked.
"Maya doesn't sing," Kermit said.
"I actually do. Or I discovered it recently. So I can try," Maya said.

Kermit gave Maya a guitar and she meddled with some chords.
She then found a nice song.
