Y/n POV
I finally got Nickie and roger up and told them what we need to escape
Y/n: okay guys, I'm going to grab Lien from that drunks wallet. Roger, I want you to grab bottles of water and food. Nickie I want you to grab a knife to defend ourselves.
Roger: a-are you sure we should leave?
Y/n: it's better off this way Roger.
Nickie: where would we go brother?
Y/n: remember Vale? We could live there without any worries and I will protect you 2 no matter what.
Nickie: what about you Y/n?
I hug them tightly.
Y/n: the only thing that matter is you 2. I will protect you till the day I die.
3rd POV
The siblings were worried for Y/n but decided to go with it. The door opened to reveal Raven.
Raven: you three are awake now, that's good. How are you feeling?
The 3 didn't say anything. Rickie and Roger didn't say anything out of fear and Y/n looked at her with a death glare.
Raven: is something wrong kids?
Raven walks closer but Y/n put the w behind him shielding them.
Y/n: *coldy* what do you want?!
Raven: we wanted to know if you want to come down stairs with us?
Nickie and Roger tried to say something but Y/n answered for them
Y/n: No! They need to stay up here. They need their big brother.
Raven: yang and ruby might need their big brother aswe-
Y/n: I don't care for those miserable rats
Raven was shocked to hear that from Y/n
Raven: young man you apologize right now.
Y/n: whatever they can't hear won't hurt em.
Raven: I said apologize NOW!
Y/n turns to Raven with that same glare not moving.
Y/n: Or What?
Raven was shocked to see that Y/n showed no fear facing her so she decided to leave the three. Y/n turned and hugged the siblings.
Y/n: we are going to leave I promise.
They nodded and waited for them to sleep.
Raven POV
I talked to the family about what happened
Qrow: kid's got guts
Summer: I'm suprized he decided to not get scared by you Raven.
Tai: that's my boy. Not flinching in a fight.
Raven: maybe I should take him to the tribe.
Yang: you're...... taking Y/n away?
Raven: only for a few years sweetie. Then I'll bring him right back.
Tai: I hope Nickie and Roger will take it calmly. When will you take him?
Raven: tomorrow morning. Then I'll bring him back when he is 15.
3rd POV nighttime
The 3 got to work to grab the supplies. Nickie grabbed a large chief knife and Roger grabbed canned food, water, and a can opener. Y/n had to be sneaky to grab the money for a motel room for the 3 for awhile until he gets a job. He slowly opens the door to Qrows room to see he was asleep drunk. Y/n sees the wallet and decides to crawl towards it. He slowly makes his way there. He grabs the wallet and steals 300 lien and places it back. He slowly creeps out of the room and sees zwei in the hallway. Zwei whimpers knowing what is going to happen
Y/n: sorry buddy, but there is no other way.
Y/n gets up and walks downstairs seeing that Nickie and Roger were ready.
Y/n: okay guys, let's start a new life.
The 3 walked out ready to face any challenges.
Timeskip morning.
Ravens alarm went off and got ready to take Y/n with her. She walks upstairs from her room and see the family.
Ruby: promise to come back?
Raven: I promise ruby. I'll bring him down to say your goodbyes
The nod and raven walks upstairs to the guest room with the kids are in. She opens the door to see 3 bumps on the bed covered up.
Raven: Okay Y/n, come down so we can talk with the others.
There was no answer so Raven pulled the blanket off to see only 3 pillows.
Raven: what the..... kids?
No answer and Raven got worried and ran back downstairs. The family see her terrified
Qrow: What's wrong and where is Y/n?
Raven: he's gone
Family: WHAT?!
Raven: it's not only him, it's also Nickie and Roger.
The family runs up to see they were not there.
Summer: no... no please not my babies.
Ruby: no not my big brothers and sister please
Yang: I-im a horrible sister
Tai: they couldn't of gotten far, Qrow let's search.
Tai and qrow left to find them. But to no avail and the family went into a depression. Ruby and Yang cried themselves to sleep, Tai never used his fist again, raven went back to her tribe, qrow drank alot, and Summer stayed in the attic. The 3 however began there journey to Vale and lived there with some troubles such as money. But Y/n did it all for his brother and sister. He helped them train, fed them, and made sure they were safe. He did construction jobs 6 days a week but tried to find the time for Nickie and Roger. For years now they lived in a trailer on the other side of town away from dealers and thiefs.
Y/n though didn't stop with his promise to bring them down no matter what
