Seonghwa: Always you

"Y/n hurry up." Seonghwa whines.

"Coming!" I call back.

As I run up to Seonghwa.

Seonghwa and I have been best friends since we were small. I don't remember the exact age but all I know is that we basically have known each other all our lives. Right now we we're walking to school together, did I forget to mention that we're also neighbor's, well now you know.

"So y/n did you hear that a new student is going to be joining our school today?" Seonghwa asked throwing his arm over my shoulder.

"Nope, well actually yeah, I mean if you count right now." I said cheekily.

"Oh you think you're so funny." He said ruffling up my hair.

"Seonghwa stop." I cried, not wanting to walk into class with messy hair.

He just laughed instead. "Well I hope it a new girl and she's hot."

Knowing him and his bad luck I just laughed in return.
After about 3 minutes in walking in silence we reached the school. We walked straight to class not needing to go to our lockers, and took our seats at the back of the classroom beside each other.
When everyone arrived in class only then did our teacher walk in, but a boy was beside her. I think he was the new kid because I've never seen him before.

"Class settle down. This is Mingi and he is a new student who will be joining us for the rest of the school year. I want you all to treat him kindly and be friendly with him. Y/n can you raise up your hand?" Our teacher asked.

I raised my hand up and made eye contact with the new kid as he looked at me.

"Mingi you will sit beside y/n and y/n I hope you can show him around." Our teacher said.

"Yes, I will show him around." I told my teacher.

Mingi walked over to the vacant desk beside me, as he was walking I took the time to study him. He was tall and lean yet strong at the same time and his face was so handsome he had a sharp jawline that would probably give me a paper cut. He looked intimidating but I had a feeling he was nicer than he looked.

"Hi you already know my name but once again I'm Mingi." He stuck his hand out for me to shake.

I grasped his hand and shook it. Wow he had soft hands, I wouldn't mind holding them.

"Hi I'm y/n, where are you from?" I ask curious.

"I'm from Seoul, South Korea." He said.

Wow he traveled far.

"Cool. By the way this is my best friend Seonghwa." I pointed at him him.

He stuck out his hand for Mingi to shake. Something felt off with Seonghwa, it was almost like he didn't like Mingi, but how? He only just met him today.

After the whole introduction our teacher got on with her lesson and we all worked in quiet. Me and Seonghwa we're never one to talk alot in class. We mostly bicker out of school and home. Thank god Mingi was quiet too.

"Brrrring!" The bell rang.

We gathered our stuff and I turned to Mingi.

"Hey can I see your schedule for a quick second." I held my hand out for it.

"Yeah sure, let me just grab it." He opened his bag and pulled out a crumpled sheet, then handed it to me.

"Okay so your in luck because we have all classes together!" I tell him happily.

"Great!." He adorably smiles at me.

"So i'll see you at lunch?" I ask Seonghwa 

"Yeah sure whatever." He tells me.
