At the same time as the F.E.A.R prepared for battle, so did the Wild Ones.

During the night, Evelyn had come up with a plan.
She would take a small group of Wild Ones into the Tower F.E.A.R and free some of the fallen brethren, so they could fight with them while the Legion and their group would take on the group of F.E.A.R soldiers outside the Tower F.E.A.R.

The Wild Ones, the Legion and Evelyn were dressed and ready for battle but Ki’Ta had one thing to do.
She blessed every single Wild One with protection.
She took the black paint and drew the same symbols on the Legion’s faces while the Wild Ones poured the black paint into their hair and let it drip and run down their faces, before putting on their black masks with the long, beak like noses and small Devil horns.

Evelyn was surprised that Ki’Ta came up to her with the small bowl of black paint in her hands.
Ki’Ta gave her a small smile as she dipped her two, paint smeared fingers into the bowl of black paint.

She lifted the two fingers from the bowl and drew two straight lines across both Evelyn’s cheeks.

Ki’Ta gave a nod of her head like she was pleased with her work.
“Now, you’re one of us Evelyn.”
Evelyn gave Ki’Ta a grateful smile.
“Thank you, Ki’Ta.”
Ki’Ta placed her hands on Evelyn’s shoulders.
She closed her eyes and bowed her head, before saying a small prayer for protection for Evelyn.

After Ki’Ta said the protection prayer for Evelyn, she moved her hands from Evelyn’s shoulders.

One of the Wild Ones handed Evelyn a weapon and she and they were about to leave the camp.
“Evey, wait a minute.”
She stopped and looked at Andy.
“There’s just one more thing.”
He walked over to her and moved his hands from his back, revealing the black mask that all of the Wild Ones were wearing.
“We don’t want your Father recognizing you.”
She gave a small nod of her head.
He did have a point.
Knowing her Father, he probably told Lei and the Shadow soldiers and guards to take her down first.
“You’re right.”
She turned around.
He placed the mask on her face and secured the ribbon, so it wouldn’t fall off during the battle.

She turned around to look at him.
“Now, your Father won’t recognize you.”
She gave a small nod of her head.
He cupped her face and looked at her.
“Just be careful.”
“We will.”
“Good luck.”
“You too.”
He kissed her, maneuvering because of the mask.

Evelyn looked at the members of her group.
“Let’s go.”
Evelyn and her group of eight Wild Ones left the camp.

Ki’Ta knew that Andy was worried about Evelyn and their baby.
But, he had to lead the Legion and the rest of the Wild Ones.

She moved toward him and put a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
He looked at her.
“Andy, you all must go. You know what you have to do.”
He closed his eyes and let out a deep sigh.
“I know.”
“Then, the time is now.”
He opened his eyes and looked at Ki’Ta.
He knew that she was right.

He looked at his four dear friends and the Wild Ones.
“Let’s go.”

Ki’Ta watched Andy lead the four other members of the Legion and the Wild Ones at the front gates of the camp to face F.E.A.R.

She couldn’t help the tears that fell from her eyes.
No matter how many battles the Legion led the Wild Ones, she would always have these fears that none of them would return and she would be alone again.
But, she would not surrender to F.E.A.R.
She would rather die.

But this time, she was deathly afraid for the Legion of the Black and the Wild Ones.

She placed her hands together as a sign to pray.
She looked up to the heavens and quietly prayed to her ancestors and the past Wild Ones and the past members of the Legion of the Black to protect the current Wild Ones and the members of the Legion of the Black.
