I arrive home and I begin to realize that going to the park is a bad idea. I can't just not go to the park though because I absolutely have to see Ivana again. The thing is, whenever I step out of my house, I feel like I have no privacy at all. I feel like all eyes are on me. I'm feel like I'm just going to embarrass myself but I should face my fears for her. Being in public with someone eases me and I shouldn't complain about going outside although I can't help it. I have to be there for her.
I decide to make my way to the park and I tell my parents that I'm going to see my friends. It's currently 5:23 pm and the sun is setting. I don't pay attention to the sky very much but it looks so beautiful the colors look in the sky, hues or blue, orange, pink and purple splash in the horizon, accompanied by a little yellow dot in the middle, the sun. The leaves on the trees are hit with orange lights coming from the sky, everything has an orange hue to it, looks so pretty. I'm thinking about how the park would look and how she would look in it. I take a moment to breathe in deeply and smile sincerely. I am in a peaceful euphoria, it's almost scary. Fuck my fear of going outside. Soon, I arrived at the park, see Ivana and bolt through the little forest of trees. Once I saw her, I realized that I was wrong thinking that I shouldn't go.
"Uh, hi.." I chirped out as I walked up to her. "Hey." She smiled. "What's up?"
"I'm just thinking." I mumbled as I looked up to her, obviously, she was taller than me.
"Tell me about it. Nobody's around to hear us you know.." She said in a soft voice.
"I'm just thinking about how I was so scared of going outside earlier, it was really irrational. I haven't been on a walk in so long and because I haven't seen you in so long I had a time of bliss."
"Are you okay?" She asked, worried.
"Of course I am, it's no big deal. I'm probably just emotional because it's getting late."
