The next day while Steve and I were working Dustin come over again to see us "Hey Dusty what are you doing here" I say questioning him He looks at me and hesitates "I uh am here to see Steve" he tells me "Okay well he's in the back" I say "Steve" I yell out he then comes out and sighs "What now" he says I point to Dustin "Your bestie is here to see you" I say then they both walk to one of the booths and go talk

"Can I try the strawberry again please" Erica Lucas younger sister asks me I have been giving her samples for the past hour now and i'm really annoyed by it "Haven't you already tried strawberry" I say "Yes and I would like to try it again" she says I roll my eyes and yell out "Steve" then I go to the back where him and Dustin are "Alright babysitting time is over you need to get in there" I say they both back up I turn my head and see a bunch of letter on my you rule you suck board "Hey my board that was important data shit birds" I say to them "I guarantee you that what we're doing is way more important than your data" Dustin says to me "Oh really and how do you know that these russians are up to no good anyways" I say to them both Dustin turns to Steve "How dose she know about the russians" he says "I don't know" Steve says "Did you tell her about the russians" Dustin says "It wasn't me" Steve says "Hello I can hear you I actually can hear everything you guys say you both are extremely loud, you think you have evil russians plotting against our country on tape and your trying to translate but you haven't realized that the russians use a completely different alphabet than we do, sound about right" I say to them I try grabbing the tape then Steve snatched it from me "Woah woah woah what do you think your doing" Steve says "I wanna hear it" i say "Why" they both say in unison "Because maybe I can help I'm fluent in four languages you know" I say "Come on I can speak spanish and french and italian and I was in for twelve years my ears are little geniuses" I say Steve then hesitates "Come on it's your turn to sling ice cream I don't want credit i'm just bored" I say I hand Steve the ice cream scooper and he hands me the russian tape

We then all read out the translated code
"The week is long.The sliver cat feeds.When blue meets yellow in the west.A trip to china sounds nice if you tread lightly" we all say in unison and confused Then we close up the store being done for the day "I mean it just can't be right"Steve says "It's right" i say "Honestly I think it's great news" Dustin says "How is this great news I mean it's totally nonsense"Steve says "It's not nonsense It's to sophisticated it's obviously a code" Dustin says "What do you mean a code I mean that's a total stretch" Steve says "I don't know is it" I say "Your buying into this"Steve asks me "Listen I mean just for kicks let's entertain the possibility that this is a secret russian transmission" I say "I mean what do you think there gonna say fire the war headed noon" I say
"Exactly" Dustin says "And my translation is correct I know that for sure" I say "So I guess that confirms our suspicion" I say "Yeah evil russians" Dustin says "So how do we crack it" Steve says "Well I guess we translate the rest then hopefully a pattern emerges" I say Dustin and I continue talking then I noticed Steve wasn't with us "Hey where's Steve" I asked we both turn around and see him starring at this toy horse
Steve's pov
I was remembering the music that was on the tape was just like the music from this horse I pull out a quarter from my pocket and put it in the horse and it starts playing "Aww need help getting up little Stevie" y/n says "Shhh would you two just shut up and listen" I say "Holy shit" Dustin says "The music is just like the music in the background of the tape" Dustin says while pulling out the tape and it starts playing exactly the same "Maybe they have horses like this in russian" y/n says "Indiana flyer yeah I don't think so this code it didn't come from russian it came from here" I say and look at them both
