3 months later
Y/n pov.
I wake up and look at the time it was 9:30 am
"Shit" I say to myself and turn to see Steve still sleeping by my side I start pushing him "Come on Steve we're gonna be late for the interview" I say he groans "Ugh that's today" he asks
"Uh yeah and we need jobs so get your ass up Harrington" I say he sits up from bed and looks at me with a fuck you look on his face "I hate you Y/n" he says and I laugh "I love you too dingus now come on" I say and grabbing his hand out of bed
He kisses me I then pull away "Come on get dressed" I say while grabbing clothes out of my dresser for him Steve basically lives here most of the time so he has clothes here
I wore washed out mom jeans and a blue striped shirt with white sneakers and Steve wore jeans a red shirt and a jean jacket with sneakers
We walk out of the car and into the movie store
Keith was the manager of the store and I can tell by the look on his face that he really hated Steve I can't blame him though Steve was a big asshole to nerds like Keith in high school
"Uh just to be clear we weren't fired you know the mall burned down and killed a bunch of people" I say to Keith "Thanks for sharing didn't know,three favorite movies go" Keith says to me "Uh the apartment, hidden fortress, children of paradise" I say "You go" he says to Steve "Uhh favorite movies" steve says "Did I stutter" he says "Uhh animal house for sure uhhhh" steve says "Hey eyes on me Harrington" he says "Umm Star Wars" he says Keith scoffs "A new hope" he says "A new what" Steve says "Which Star Wars" he says "The one with the teddy bears duh" steve says making alien noises "Oh my gosh" I say and sigh "You start monday" keith says and points to me "And you start never" he says and points to Steve
"Will you just um give us a minute" I say to Steve "Why" he says "Steve please" I say and peck him on the cheek "Ugh fine" he says then walks away
"Alright you have to understand I know his taste is a bit pedestrian but dingus has other qualities" I say "He's a doucebag of the highest order Y/n" he says "He was a bit of a prick to us in high school i'll grant you that but he remains total chick magnet" I say smirking "Yeah okay and this is relevant to me how" he says "Uh earth to Keith the ladies will come in just to see him we sold so much ice cream they had to get another shipment from michigan goddamn michigan Keith" I say "And these lady's wont be available for poor Steve so he will need assistance your assistance Keith" I say "What's in it for you" he asks me "Nothing just a job for me and my boyfriend I guess" I say "Ugh alright fine" he says
Then I turn to see Steve trip over a movie poster "Oh Fast Times ever heard of it Keith top three for me" he says I stand there and laugh at my dorky boyfriend
We leave the video store and get into the car Steve grabs my hand and turns and looks at me "Thank you" he says and kisses me softly I smile "No problem dingus" I say "Oh um Joyce invited us over to go help them pack and I promised Dustin I would give him a ride over there" I say "Alright well let's go get Dustin and go" he says
I kiss him and put my head against his "I love you Steve" i say "I love you too Y/n" he says then starts to drive
-time skip-
We go over there and say our final goodbyes to the family it's was really emotional especially for Dustin being so close to Will and El
I said my goodbyes to Jonathan in high school him and I were really good friends
And as they drove off I give Dustin a big hug and Steve puts his arms around both of us
