We're still in the car trying to distract the mind flayer then all of a sudden we hear Dustin on the walkie talkie singing
"turn around
look at what
you seeee"
(i'm so sorry for that😂)
I was so confused "Oh my gosh that's Suzie and Dustin" I say they all turn to me confused
"Hey guys the Mind flayer isn't following us anymore" Steve says then Jonathan turns the car around and we head back to the mall
-time skip-
We go into the mall and Lucas brings out a bunch of fireworks to shoot at the mind flayer So we all start to shoot fireworks at it
Then the Mind Flayer falls to the ground and they closed the gate
We were all outside of the mall at this point and a bunch of ambulances came
everyone was hugging each other I go and run to Dustin "You okay Dusty" I ask him he nods and hugs me then Steve comes up to us and hugs us both
I then started crying realizing that Hopper wasn't out with everyone and how the Mind Flayer killed Billy "Hey are you ok" Steve asks me holding my chin up to him "No it just so sad the innocent people like Hopper and Billy died tonight" I say and continue to cry "Well they died hero's Y/n and that's the best way to die as a hero" he says to me trying to make me feel better "Let's go home" I tell him
We get home and my mom was asleep so it was fine sneaking Steve in
"Goodnight Dustin I know these past few days have been insane but please try to get some sleep okay" I say "Okay I will Y/n but um where is Steve gonna sleep" he asks "Oh uh the couch yeah the couch" I say "Mmhmm sure well make sure you use protection" he says "Okay I will ... wait what" I say in shock he starts laughing "Goodnight Y/n" he says
I go to my room and see Steve laying down on my bed starring off into space "Hey dingus" I say and smile he looks at me and laughs "Hey beautiful" he says back "What ya thinking about" I ask "Everything" he says "Yeah well I don't blame you" I say laying down next to him he turns to face me he starts to rubbing my cheeks with his fingers just staring at me "This might be too soon but I love you Y/n" he says
butterflies start to fill my stomach no guy has been this loving to me ever "Well I love you too dingus" I say we laugh and he then kisses my forehead and I fall asleep in his arms
After everything that happened things started to feel kinda normal again.....
