the first time i heard about love
i wanted to feel it
but it never came
i looked at my mother
and told her to teach me
to make me feel
but she didn't know how to
she wasn't whole
for my father sucked the
life out of her
every night
and left her empty
and thats how i felt
every night as i heard her
whimpers echoing through the halls
