Chapter 3

Annabeth's POV-

Once Peter leaves Sally goes in her room to take a nap. I haven't seen Percy in a month and I missed him so much. I hated how we got back to CHB and had to go straight home to our families. Of course I missed my brothers and my dad and stepmom ( only a little ), but I felt like me and Percy never get some alone time together. I snuggle up to Percy while we watch finding dory with the other 7. Slime and look up at Percy. He looks down at me and kisses me on the nose. I smile and hug him. God I missed him so much.

I hear muffled voices outside but I don't think anything of it until I hear banging on the door. We pause the movie and Percy gats up to open the door.

"Wait!" I say. I look through the peep hole on the door to see who it is I see a bunch of grown adults dressed in costumes. Is it Halloween already? I signal for Percy to look and she chuckles once he sees them. By now everyone else was behind us. The man wearing a American flag knocks on the door again.

"Hello? Hellooo?!" The Fourth Of July guy says.
I unlock the door and look at Percy. I open the door and laugh once I see them. They all have on costumes, one of them look kind of like cat women, without ears. One of them looks like an American flag. Another one of them looks like a hawk, then you have a Ironman? And another one of them looks like someone trying to imitate a god.

"Um... sorry we don't have any candy." I say holding back a laugh. I go do close the door when The Ref white and blue guy stops it. I push with all my might to close the door, which is a lot, but not enough. He pushes open the door and hold it there.

"Look we don't want to case any trouble. Just come with us and we can tal-" I imagine he was going to say Talk but I wouldn't know because Percy and Jason punched him in the face at the same time. The guy falls on the floor holding his nose and I see the one normal guy step forward and look at his nose. The cat woman girl steps forward and points a gun at me.

"Get on the floor." She points her gun at me and Percy gets on the floor. Which makes everyone get on the floor except for Nico.

"Nico... get on the floor..." I whisper. Nico glares at me the steps over to the girl holding the gun. She points her gun at him but he doesn't flinch. I take this to my advantage and run over to my bag. She notices and pulls out another gun and points it to me. The other people waiting outside come inside I sit next to my bag and slowly unzip it. The gurl with the guns walks over to me and stands in front of me. Soon everyone had someone standing next to them except for Percy. I look at Percy and he gets up slowly and walks to me he holds my hand and asks if he can get some water. Iron man nods and says he can get water from the sink. Percy lets go of my hand and walks over to the sink. He turns the water on and puts the drain down. Once the sink is filled up he sticks his head in the water and holds it there for 3 minutes. He pretends to die and falls on the floor. The 7 adults run over to him and start to preform CPR. I take this as a advantage and get my knife out. I guess everyone else sees this too because they all get their weapons out and aim it at the person that was standing near them before. I hear them talk in hushed tones and they get up slowly and look at us.

"Let me introduce us." Iron man says. "I am iron man or Tony." hehe I got it right. "This is the black widow or Natasha." He points to the cat women girl.  "This is Captain America, or Steve. This is Hawkeye also know as Clint. This is Thor, the god of Thunder, lightning, oak trees, and strength." Iron man says.  "And yes I know, omg it's a god! Gods are real? Wow that's so hard to believe but it's true." I roll my eyes and see that about all the other demigods did the same. "Um ok so this is Bruce, also know as the hulk. And this is- wait guys where is Peter?" Tony asks.

"Um like Peter Parker?" Hazel asks.

"Yes he's part of the avengers. And where is he?"

"Wait so your telling me that our friend is one of you guys?"

"Yes."

"Oh."

"PETER GET YOUR TINY BUT IN THIS ROOM RIGHT NOW!" Tony yells.

Peter enters the room slowly and smiles shyly. Nobody smiles back.
"Ok so as I was saying before this is Spider man-" When he said spider man I screamed and hid behind the couch screaming  "it's not my fault please don't kill me!!" Piper and hazel ran over to me and calmed me.

"Shh he's not a real spider Annabeth it's ok... shhh don't cry he won't hurt you. I promise." I stop crying and the avengers look at me weird while my friends comfort me.

"Oookkkayyy" Peter says.

"Can you guys leave now." I ask.

"We can't. I'm sorry it's an order and we need to try and help your friend." Bruce says.

Piper walks up to them and looks at them. "Please Leave." Piper says with such force I even wanted to leave.

"Of course, sorry to take up your time." Tony says. He leaves and the others leave after him. Thor stops and looks at her. He narrows his eyes and walks out of the apartment shutting the door behind him. I look at Piper and thank her. Percy gets up and kisses me.

"Whatever that was we need to get some sleep." I say.
