Chapter II: the VKs

Two girls could be seen tagging a wall with the words «Long Live Evil», on one tag inside a silhouette of Maleficent, on the other inside a silhouette of a roaring lion. One of the girls had shoulder-length purple hair and was wearing a leather jacket of the same color with hints of green. The other had dark brown hair with a hint of green and was wearing a black leather jacket with a snarling lion on the back, black fur lining the collar. They both turned and started singing:

(Mal and Skye)
They say I'm trouble

And that makes me glad

A boy with long black hair wearing a maroon beanie and a yellow, teal and red leather vest climbed down a ladder. Another boy with short black hair wearing a black and red leather jacket with hints of white, the ace of spades on the back, and a cap with a spade symbol on the front; dropped down next to him.

(Jay and Ace)
A dirty no-good
Down to the bone
Your worst nightmare
Can't take me home

A girl with wavy, dark blue hair clad in blue walked across a table, forcing people to lift their plates to avoid her stepping on them.

(Evie)
So I got some mischief
In my blood
Can you blame me?
I never got no love

A boy with curly white hair wearing a white, red and black jacket, stepped out of a window, grabbing a man's red handkerchief and stealing a kid's apple, biting down on it before tossing it back and walking off.

(Carlos)
They think I'm callous
A low-life hood
I feel so useless

The people ran off while the Vks laughed to each other. While everyone laughed, Mal reached over and took a popsicle from a baby.
"Stealing candy Mal?"
The crowd parted to reveal Maleficent.
"It was from a baby." Mal informed, handing it over to her mother.
"That's my nasty little girl!" Maleficent grinned. She then proceeded to spit on it, stick it under her armpit and then hand it to one of her knuckleheads.
"Give it back to the dreadful creature." she ordered.
"Mom!" Mal complained.
"It's the deets, Mal, that make the difference between mean and truly evil. When I was your age, I was"
"Cursing entire kingdoms" Mal finnished along with her mom.
"You see, I'm trying to teach you what really counts: How to be me."
"I know. And I promisse I'll get better." Mal answered.
"Oh! There's news! I buried the lead." Maleficent exclaimed. She then turned to look at the Vks.
"You've all been chosen to go to a new school" she paused for dramatic effect "in Auradon."
At the mention of Auradon all of them tried to run but were quickly stopped by the knuckleheads.
"What! I'm not going to some boarding school filled with prissy pink princesses!" Mal protested.
"And perfect princes." Evie said dreamilly "Ugh." she added when she saw Mal's look.
"I am not going to the home of the snobbish royals. No, thank you!" Skye said.
"Yeah! And besides, I heard you're not aloud to use your skateboard wherever you want to. What else am I gonna do, sell flowers?" Ace agreed.
"Yeah. And I don't do uniforms. Unless it's leather, you feel me?" Jay added.
"I heard they allow dogs in Auradon. Mom told me they're vicious pack animals who eat boys that don't behave." Carlos said in fear. Jay sneaked behind him and let out a 'whoof', scaring him.
"Yeah, mom! We're not going!" Mal finnished for the group.
"You're thinking small, pumpkin. It's all about world domination." Maleficent said.
"Knuckleheads!" she began walking away " Maaal!" she called. Mal and the Vks hurried after her.
