Once my wolf calmed down I walked inside, heading towards the bathroom. I shifted back and put on an all black outfit with silver studs decorating it. I smiled slightly at myself in the mirror. I looked scary, just what I was hoping for. I walked out of the bathroom and back to Nathan's hospital bed. As I made my entrance through the door everyone stood up and stared at me.
"A-Alpha?" Corey asked in a questioning tone.
"What is it, Corey?" I snapped.
"A-Are you okay?" He stuttered. I gave him my best are-you-kidding-me look then turned to Luke.
"Alpha," Luke said while slightly bowing his head. Most of the time Luke and Corey never bow their heads to me but they know that when I'm angry I expect the utmost respect.
"Where do your loyalties lie?" I questioned.
"With you, of course, Alpha," Luke said.
"I would like to inform you that I will kill her, Beta or not. Are you able to handle that?" I questioned. Knowing that Faith and Luke were slightly a 'thing' before I left, I had to make sure he understood what would happen.
"If it is okay with you Alpha, I would like to stay here until the battle is over," Luke said. He gave me a cautious glance as I thought on his words.
"I understand Luke. You may remain here until I will call for you," I said. Then I turned towards Corey.
"Corey, where do your loyalties lie?" I questioned. I knew that Corey was Faith's brother, I had to make sure he was willing to help me do the unthinkable.
"Always with you, Alpha," Corey said.
"Even if it means that I rip your sister apart?"
"I'm pretty sure she was adopted anyways," Corey said while smiling at me, trying to lighten the mood.
"It is time to leave, grab all your things and load them into the car. I expect that we will get there very soon."
Corey nodded his head and went to finish packing up the car. I turned to Nathan and said, "You will stay here until you are completely healed."
He simply nodded his head. I walked out of the room, not even acknowledging James. As I made my way to the front door I felt someone grab my arm and drag me to them. I quickly spun around and went face first into James's very hard chest. I stepped back and glowered at him.
"What is it?" I questioned.
"I need to talk to you," James said while pulling me into an empty room.
"What is there to talk about?" I asked in an icy tone.
"You know exactly what there is to talk about and before I start you must promise to not interrupt at all, okay?" James asked.
"Fine," I growled.
"I'm very sorry for all that I have put you through. I don't know why I believed her over you, it was stupid and I just did it because I was scared. I was scared of the idea that one day you might leave so I didn't want to get attached. But I did because you are such a wonderful and amazing person and I love you so much," James said. He stepped forward and wrapped his arms around me. He nuzzled his head into the crook of my neck and said, "Just please, please, please don't leave me. I love you so much and I can't live without you."
I cautiously wrapped my arms around his waist and buried my head into his chest. I thought over what he just said for a few minutes before saying, "I-I love you too."
We stood there for a few minutes, just hugging. Until Corey burst through the door saying that the car was loaded. James and I moved away from each other. I looked up at him and saw that he was clearly thinking about something. I was about to leave when he said, "I'm coming too."
I heard footsteps approach me from behind as he walked to the car with me. I simply shrugged my shoulders and went along with it.
The three of us piled into the car and started our semi-short journey to MY pack land.
