Chapter 13: Facing The Future Together

~13 Year Timeskip ~

Eren Jeager (29) is now an Business Administrator, he studied Business for Four Years at College, he earned his Diploma in his Final Year and eventually Pursued it at University, he left with his Degree in Business. He earns himself a substantial Wage as well as owning a few Super Cars, but he doesn't like to brag about it one bit.

His Best Friend Armin Arlert (29) works as an Information Security Analyst. He too earns a Huge Wage but doesn't like to brag about it one bit, or throw Money at other People's Faces. His Girlfriend Petra on the other hand eventually moved on and good riddence it was, she told Armin the Truth and it resulted to the two Breaking Up for good.

~Eren's Point Of View~

Eren woke up for the Day, he lived in an Apartment Now, since he sold his Family Home he lives just 30 Minutes away from Work, he still lived in the same Area his whole life but in a different part of Town. The Group consisting of Levi, Mikasa, Annie and Reiner and Bertolt all moved away, they all Pursued what they wanted to do in life. Eren got up from his Bed, he undid the Curtains. It was a Sunny Day today.

Because Eren was the Head Leader in his Department, it didn't matter what time he went in, as long as the Employees get the work done. They either Email him about it or give it to him in Person when he comes into the Office.

Eren went downstairs to the Kitchen, his Food was already there, since a Maid kept on coming into his Apartment, cleaned it up and Dropped off some Breakfast for him.

The Maid's name was Brenda.

"Guess Brenda came round again, I should pay her double for doing an amazing Job" Eren thought.

Just the Eren's Phone was buzzing. He looked at it and saw it was a Call from Armin, Eren immediately answered it.

PHONE CALL

"Yooo Armin, what's good?" Eren.

"Nothing man, say can you come round to the cafe I need to talk to you about something" Armin.

"Sure, give me 10 Minutes, I'll finish up Breakfast and make my way to you" Eren.

"Okay thanks man" Armin.

"What are you thanking me for?" Eren.

"I'll tell you later" Armin.

CALL ENDED

Later On, Eren left his Apartment and headed towards the Cafe, it was no longer Starbucks since it moved away to a different Location. The new place was called Reiss Cafe.

Eren entered it and ordered himself a Hot Chocolate instead.

He saw Armin sat down looking all antsy about something.

Eren approach him.

"Hey" Eren said.

"Erennnn" Armin said he got up and hugged him.

"Dude what's with you? We've been living in this Area our whole life, why you acting like we've never seen each other?" said Eren.

"Oh sorry about that, I guess that's how I am now since the Break Up with Petra" said Armin.

"Is that what you wanted to talk about?" Eren said.

"Listen Eren~" Armin said while he sat back down.

"Armin you broke up with her because she made out with her ex and kept it front you since Uni, don't tell me you still have feelings for her?" Eren said interrupting Armin.

"Eren~" Armin.

"Dude she had two chances with us and she broke them, not only that but she didn't even refrain herself from Kissing the other Punk." Eren said interrupting Armin again.

"EREN" Armin shouted slightly.

Eren calmed himself down and listened to what Armin wanted to say.

"Huh" Eren replied.

"I'm Moving Away......" Armin said bluntly.

"What......?" Eren replied back saying.

"I said I'm Moving Away" Armin said again.

"Oh" Eren replied.

Eren stared down at the Table, seeing Armin's Reflection within it.

"You see they found a much bigger Office in New Jersey and because I love working there I decided to comply with the new rules, meaning I have to Work Close by. Which is why I'm Moving Away, tomorrow in fact" Armin said.

Eren didn't reply at first, he was quiet the entire time. But he realised that he shouldn't hold Armin back. He loved working there so he should remain strong for him.

"I see, then I won't hold you against it if your Moving Away then I guess I'm happy for you. Good Luck man, I'll Miss You A Lot" said Eren.

"Dude don't get all sad on me, you can come anytime and stay with me at the Apartment I purchased" Armin said back.

"Alright then" Eren said.

The two got up and Hugged each other, a brotherly Hug amongst two best friends.

The two left the Cafe together, Eren got his Hot Chocolate first and Left Along with Armin. The two gave each other a Fist Bump before going their Seperate Ways.

Eren was going towards the Direction of his Apartment. But that was not all. While walking he saw someone, not someone a Duo more like. Eren couldn't believe who he was seeing.

"It's........them" Eren mumbled to himself.

It pans towards the Face of Eren and it turns around steadily. He saw two people who abused him so much. One attacked him in his own home. One bullied the heck out of him.

"Mikasa and Levi" Eren mumbled, wide eyes as well as a bit of a traumatic flashback.

The two also spot him as well.

"Hey isn't that....." said Levi.

Mikasa stated at him.

"No way, no way in hell, this can't be happening those two, those two devil's standing right in front of me, their making their way to me act normal for once" Eren thought.

Levi and Mikasa approached him.

"Heyy" Levi said smiling.

Eren just stared at them.

"Hi" Eren said quietly.

"Been a while hasn't it" said Levi.

"I guess so" Eren replied.

Eren didn't want to be around them, he felt it in his gut that these two couldn't be trusted. He went with his gut instinct.

"Sorry I gotta go" Eren said while completely dodging the Question Levi asked him.

He walked away quickly and turned round the Corner and headed straight to his Apartment. While he entered his Apartment he noticed that there boxes outside the Hallway.

"I wonder whose Moving In" Eren thought.

He went inside and sat down.

Unknown to him, the Neighbours who were Moving In were none other than Levi and Mikasa. But Eren didn't know that.
