You suddenly wake up on the floor. Your whole body was in pain. You grab onto your mouth as you look around and realize you were in your room. You had fallen off the bed. You stand up and look down, your bandages were off but you had clothes on. Was it just a dream? You thought to yourself. But then you thought; who the fuck put clothes on me? The door opens. It was the doctor. She had a notebook with her
Doctor: Oh you're awake, good
She goes over to you
Doctor: Since you can't talk; can you give me a thumbs up or down to how you're feeling?
You just stare at her but slowly put a thumbs up
Doctor: That's good
She writes on her notebook
Doctor: Does it feel like your body is on fire?
You shake your head
She writes again
Doctor: Burning gone in six days, interesting
You grab the doctor by the arm in shock when she said that. She quickly looks at you
Doctor: Hey It's okay. It's just an after effect of the bliss. If you had woken up early, well let's just say it's not a pretty sight
You let go of her arm while sitting on the bed in disbelief that you've been sleeping for six days
Doctor: Oh this is for you
She grabs a towel and gives it to you. You look at the towel then at her
Doctor: I'm sure your dying for a shower right?
You nod but then point at your shirt
Doctor: Dangit that's what I forgot. No worries
She stands
Doctor: Well come on now. This is the perfect time to get privacy
You get out of bed and follow the doctor out of the room. The doctor takes you to a locker room with multiple showers in the very back
Doctor: You have fifteen minutes
She leaves. You stand there confused that she just left you with a towel...You hear a click at the door
Doctor: In case you try to escape! I'll go grab your clothes!
You roll your eyes then think what the hell? You undress, go over to the shower, and turn it on. It stung a little when the water touched your markings but that didn't bug you. You were just enjoying the shower. It even stung when you used the soap to wash yourself. The thought of the doctor saying you were asleep for six days kept repeating in your head
*click*
Then of course everyone in the water and the bliss place. Was it even real? Did john really go in your room and you just had some sick traumatic dream of him and Joseph? You were confused but wanted to know the answer to that. As you're thinking, someone was lurking around the room, eventually watching you. The cross on your back and the words PRIDE right under it caught their eye. Oh but don't worry that's not all that caught their eye. You snap out of it when the water hits your eyes. You wipe your eyes then turn the shower off. You walk over to your towel, dry yourself off, then wrap it around your body. You go by the door and wait for the doctor to come because there's nothing else to do. You look at the door then realize the silver knob that shows when a door is locked wasn't there so you reach for the door
Hello little sheep
You quickly turn around and crash into the door. It was Jacob. He had clothes in his hands
Jacob: Didn't mean to startle you. Just bringing you your clothes
He sets them down
Jacob: So; you're the Prodigy?
He walks over then leans in to get a good look at you. You try to lean back but you're already against the door. You were intimidated by him. He was so much taller than you and of course built. You didn't want to show it so you just glared at him
Jacob: Hmm thought you'd be taller, stronger even but you are small and weak
He puts his hands on the door next to both sides of your face which made you nervous but kept the glare
Jacob: Just because you're glaring at me doesn't mean you're tough. I don't know what the hell Joseph was thinking bringing an outsider here and calling them The Prodigy. All you are is a sheep in the wolves den
You both have a stare off
Jacob: But if I know my brother, he knows what he's doing
He stands straight but keeps his hands where they're at
Jacob: I'll be watching you very closely so don't try to do anything stupid or even try to escape because I WILL catch you and you won't be going to your "luxury" room. Just know that
He takes his hands off the door but grabs the knob. You move away from him
Jacob: Get dressed. Joseph wants to speak with you
He leaves, slamming the door behind him. Damn that was rough. Yes definitely someone you don't want on your bad side. You quickly change into your new clothes without caring what you were wearing then stare at the door. You didn't know if you had to leave or wait for someone to...
Jacob: Step away from the door, get on your knees and put your hands behind your head
You quickly do what he says without hesitation. He opens the door
Jacob: Good, you listen
He goes over, puts your hands behind your back, ties them together, and stands you up. You feel him grasp the back of your neck
Jacob: Start walking
You start to walk. He'd push you in the direction he wanted you to go. You eventually end up at a church without going outside
