You arrive at this big ass ranch miles away from the bunker. Yeah this was John's place. Crazy ass John with a place like this. John was driving super fast but you were too amazed by his place to even care. He basically drifts near the front, forces you out while slamming the door behind him and forces you inside the ranch. Once inside, he once again throws you to the ground. Joseph walks in and sees
Joseph: John what is the meaning of this act of aggression?
John: Your "Prodigy" did something stupid today
Joseph: Elaborate
John: I left her alone in the same room with that trouble maker deputy to test her. To see if she could be trusted
Joseph folds his arms and looks at you
Joseph: Go on
John: I come in and she's untying them. Both of them attack me and she helps them escape. They killed two of my men and she let them escape again
You're just lying there in embarrassment. You didn't want to look at Joseph
Joseph: Get up Eden
You slowly pick yourself up while holding your stomach with one hand but kept your head down. You hear him walk over to you, seeing his feet in your eyesight
Joseph: Look at me child
You slowly do. John was smirking as if he was excited for Joseph to snap at you. Joseph sees one side of your face red then pays attention to your hand on your stomach
Joseph: John leave us
John: Umm okay?
Joseph: I'll call you back in a bit
He nods then walks out of the room with a surprised look, closing the two sliding doors together behind him. Joseph gets closer to you, putting his hand on your face and moving your hair out of the way so he can see the red mark. You try to look the other way so he doesn't see it but of course he makes you look back at him
Joseph: Did he hit you child?
You look at him and nod
Joseph: And that?
He points at your hand. You look down at it and nod
Joseph: Let me see it
You shake your head
Joseph: Eden let me see it. That's the least you can do since you've failed your test at leaving the deputy be and not helping them
You knew he was right but you didn't want to show him. He would get a glimpse of you which made you blush like an idiot when you thought about it
Joseph: I just want to see that's all. Is it bad that I'm concerned for you?
You look at him
Joseph: And no it's not because you're The Prodigy
That made you feel good just by hearing those words. You felt accepted by who YOU are and not what people think you are but still you're about to show him your stomach. You slowly lift your shirt up pass your stomach. Where John kicked you at is now a bruise. Joseph shakes his head in disgust
Joseph: Okay I've seen enough
You put your shirt down
Joseph: John!
John quickly comes back
John: So; what will the punishment be then?
Joseph: There will be no punishment
