In 2 Years Time

Chapter 4

It was later that night and Maya had not spoken with her mother or Shawn all night.
And they knew something was wrong.
Maya has never acted like this before.
But Katy doesn't want to meddle.
Unless like her husband.
Shawn knocked on Maya's door and went in.

"Can we chat?" Shawn asked.

Maya was laying on her bed busy reading a book.

"Yeah," Maya said and Shawn sat down next to her on the bed.
"What happened today? You are different," Shawn said.
"I went to give the ring back," Maya said.
"I know it must have been hard."
"I saw Josh. He was visiting I think," Maya said.
"And? How was that?" Shawn asked.
"Weird. I've felt these feelings so long I don't actually know what to feel anymore," Maya said.
"And it's not that simple either, right?" Shawn asked.
"Nope," Maya said and looked at the locked around her neck.
"Do you think I was a idiot? I mean. I could get over it or at least act better. I just don't know how," Maya said.
"You did nothing wrong Sweetheart. I promise you that," Shawn said and Maya smiled.
"Are you hungry? Or wait no. I'm not asking. Get your bag. We're going out for dinner," Shawn said.

Maya smiled and got her handbag.
She was excited to see that her father did want to do something.
She was kinda bored anyway and it was still early.
Like around eight or so.

Shawn drive to a place not too far from the house.
Maya loved it and she knew that she would be able to relax.
She knew that Riley didn't know of it and was very happy because of that.
They walked inside and bumped into people.

"Shawn? What the heck are you doing here?" Cory asked.
"Taking my wife and daughter to dinner," Shawn said.
"You married to Shawn Hunter?" Topanga asked.
"What does it matter? Me and my daughter are very happy."
"Why would you hide it? Why would you hide that Shawn is..."
"Let's go Dad. We can eat somewhere else," Maya said.
"Yeah. Run away. It's what you always do," Riley says.
"Riley!" Topanga says.

She couldn't believe what her daughter had said but now it it just that.
Maya wasn't looking too good either.
Katy went to her and saw she was very pale.

"Shawn we need to get her home," Katy said and then Maya fainted.
"Maya!" Shawn said and rushed to Maya.
"Call the ambulance. Maya? Maya wake up."

Everyone was confused and not even Josh knew what to think about this.
Something seriously was wrong and he was going to find out.
That he would make sure off.
