"Up and at them girls! We have travel shit to do" Joe shout banging on the doors of our hotel rooms. Making us all hurry. Our bus leaves soon and then we have the plane journey to Chicago. Today was going to be a long day, a lovely 4 hour plane journey should get us there around 2pm if we get our plane at 10am on time! Big if!
"You got your switch charged" Nicki asks as we grab our bags
"Yup it's in my carry on" I say smiling as we leave the room
"Mario Kart Racing for sure when we get on plane" Nicki says excited making me chuckle at her childish behaviour
"Bags please" The driver states as we leave the hotel to the bus out front. Fans were stood behind the barriers which had been put up for our protection, screaming our names and wanting signatures on stuff.
"Thank you" Nicki and I say at the same time handing him the bags. We smile and wave at the countless fans before getting on the bus. It was too early to deal with anything!
"Right girls settle down then. We are aiming to land in chicago by 2pm. Drop off at the hotel and then quick gym session to get our blood pumping again! Light session. Then the night is yours!" Joe says and we all woop in agreement at getting a free night. We dont get them often...
Flash forward to when we are all finely situated on the plane, ready to take off. Chatter has already started.
"Y/N you've played chicago. Any worry players" Amadine asks from a few seats over, her head appearing above the seat to look at me
"Sam Kerr. Sam Kerr and Sam Kerr" I say making everyone chuckle
"She is scary!" Glas replies and I nod
"Julie Ertz is a tough opponent to face, Alyssa is a great keeper but Sam and Yuki. Good attackers so protect me please!" I say smiling at the girls who all laugh at my stupid ness
"Mario Kart" Nicii says from next to me and I nod, pulling it out to start the games.
A couple of hours later we had arrived. We were all more awake now so we all climb off the plane and grab our suitcases.
"Stay tight going through the airport. Bus is out front" Joe says and we all nod
We step foot into the airport, the amount of support here is unbelievable considering there have a local team to support. People are shouting our team name, my name plenty too. Theres signs and girls with painted faces. We all smile and wave at as many as we can as we follow Joe and security through the airport.
"Wow" danni says as I chuckle at her
"Who knew we were this popular" Nicki says and i shrug
"Unbelievable" I say smiling at everything going on around us....
