"She mad bout something right na'?" I asked Kendell and he started laughing. I gave him a serious look and he stopped laughing
"nah she ain't mad bout nothing, she been in a good mood all morning" he told me and I shrugged
This my first time seeing my momma since everything happened. That was a long time ago, she said she wanted to see me
I cleared my schedule and made time to come down here and see her. I been out of town a lot more lately, and all I been doing is working
I had to be down in L.A for a video shoot, but I canceled it
I got out the car and locked it before going in. I heard a baby crying and I scrunched my face up. I walked in the living room with Kendell behind me
I walked in to see Teelee on the couch holding a baby
"say, who baby you got?" I asked in low soft voice
"Mine" she replied and I looked at her like she was crazy
My lit' sister had a baby, I was suppose to be the first to have a baby
At least Kendell immature ass ain't got no baby
"let me hold him" I sat down beside her and she placed him in my arms "where momma at?"
"In her room, she went back there to get something" just when she said that my momma came walking down the hallway
"Kendell ima beat yo' ass cause I told you to— " she stopped once she seen me and looked surprised "I thought you wasn't gone come"
I shrugged not really knowing what to say
"you told me to what?" Kendell asked waiting for a response
"get that shit out that floor in that room" he sucked his teeth and got up walking out
"after this I ain't doing nothing else" he said loud enough for us to hear. I chuckled and shook my head
"come here boy" my momma said walking out into the kitchen and I followed. She walked over to the stove, she was cooking something
It smelt good
"you look like you doing better and from what I see on Instagram you is" I nodded "my mission accomplished"
What mission?
"what mission?" I asked looking confused
"I kicked yo' black ass out cause I knew if I kept you under my roof you wasn't gone change"
"no you kicked me out cause I wasn't letting you play on my top" I corrected her, she know the truth
"how you gone tell me the reason I kicked you out?"
"just cause I'm a dropout don't mean I'm as stupid as you think, Sherhonda" she made a face and pointed at me
"first off don't call me no Sherhonda, you will get slapped in here. Don't forget you still my son.I brought you in this world and I will take you out"
I laughed, she sound stupid
"I got enemies fa' shit like that" I said and she shook her head
"you ain't change, I take back what I said" she said walking over to the pot on the stove
"my grandma took care of me, and if she was still here I'll still be with her"
My grandma took care of me for different reasons. I only seen my momma on the weekends, and that wasn't often. I didn't have no choice but to come live with my momma when she died. Every since then we ain't have a good bond
We got along sometimes, but it wasn't a all the time thing. I love my momma and I'll kill for her, but she just be having shit twisted
"you would cause I couldn't deal with you back then and I really can't deal with you now"
I use to always get in trouble, skip school, and do a whole lot of other stuff. It got to the point where my momma didn't know what to do with me and she put me with my grandma
I was young as hell
I settled down but once I moved back with my momma I started doing whatever I wanted again
Couldn't nobody tell me shit, and if they did I wasn't listening
"I'm finna leave mane, I ain't got time fa' this. I could've went to my video shoot, bye. I love you"
I still love her though
"I love you too, boy" she said before I left, I got in my car and drove home
I took my shoes off at the door and went straight to the kitchen. I found something to eat and sat down scrolling on my phone

"You ain't talk to me in one whole day, so let me know what hoe I gotta beat" she looked in the camera all serious. I sucked my teeth before laughing
"you ain't gotta beat no hoes bae, you know ian doing nunna that dumb shit. I just been busy working tryna clear my schedule"
"yeah whatever, you home?" I nodded "when you was gone tell me you was home?"
"baeee" I said getting aggravated "I just got back in Baton Rouge, I had to stop to my momma house"
"y'all back talking?" she asked looking curious
I shrugged, " I guess so, I really don't know. You look tired" I said raising a eyebrow
"I am cause school stressing me out, and I'm tryna get these lashes sold. It's to much going on at once"
"go to sleep and take a break from the lashes for a lit' bit" I suggested and she looked at me weird
"that's how I make my money, you know ian tryna be in my momma house when I graduate. I'm tryna save up and get out"
I nodded, I forgot after she graduate she having my kids. She can't be trapped in her momma house when it happen
"aight well then be tired" I shrugged and laughed "just dont pass out"
"you is so irritating " she hung up the phone and I started laughing
