Mackenzie's POV

I was woken up by getting shook by my best friend Devinity. I opened my eyes to see what I see every morning, people walking by and not giving a care in the world.

I sat up and rubbed my back, moaning at the pain the concrete gave me for sleeping on it. Rude concrete.

I took my blanket off of me, which was just a ripped and dirty one, and stretched. After stretching, I put my old shoes on and waited for Devinity to put hers on.

Devinity grabbed my hand and started dragging me. After we were walking for less than a minute, we bumped into a boy.

I looked up at his face and saw beautiful green eyes. Hot.

He looked back down at me and stared at me for a moment before looking at Devinity. "Follow me." the boy said smiling. He grabbed my dirty hand and lead us somewhere.
