OLIVIA CLARKE was high on life. she'd graduated her junior year with flying colors, been able to get a job at the new starcourt mall, and would be spending her summer with two of her best friends. the one thing not going her way: steve harrington. olivia had been infatuated with steve for two years, and when they both ended up in a mess of monsters and hormones, she'd thought she'd finally felt a spark between the two. steve, though, had apparently not felt the same. not every few seconds, at least. it seemed as though his feelings for her were bipolar and could change in an instant. but, when they crack a russian code and end up fighting for their lives (again), something more than mutual crushing may happen between the two.

STEVE HARRINGTON had felt that life wasn't going his way since graduation. not only had he not been accepted into any state colleges, but he also was forced to spend his summer working at an ice cream parlor with an overly sarcastic blonde. what only made matters worse is that he was falling for olivia clarke, and he was falling hard. after being dumped by nancy wheeler, he was scared to love again. so, instead of confessing to the girl, he tried (and failed) to bury his feelings. but, when they find a russian conspiracy right under their noses, steve realizes hiding his feelings is hell of a lot more work than he ever thought it to be.
