newhopereece: hunter jamie, you turn two today. i can't believe it that it's already been 730 days since you came into this world. 730 days since you made my life even better than it already was. i never thought it was possible. i thought that i had everything i needed with just your mother. i had accepted that we may never have kids, and then it happened and i felt my heart burst. you (and your mom and little kaitlynn obviously) made my life complete.

leannabibby: hunter, the little boy who never fails to amaze me. you've become more of an independent little boy recently, and it's the cutest yet most heartbreaking thing. a few weeks ago, i couldn't believe that you were almost two. i was just staring at you as you tried to dress yourself, and i didn't know how you had gotten this big this fast. and yet here we are, the morning of your second birthday. your father and i are anxiously waiting for you to wake up so you can open all of your presents and then play with them for hours until you get tired and want to take a nap.
