I was trying to close the curtains in the mini library that I had in my house. I had only just closed one set of curtains when I turned to the other window and was met with a creepy sight.
The bright blue moonlight shone against her back, making the half of her body that was facing the window appear more like a silhouette than an actual person. Thus, I couldn't properly see what the woman's face looked like though I could at least tell that she had long hair. I could just barely make out the expression on her face: her eyes looked half dead and her mouth was agape. The woman looked like a newly-turned zombie.
I decided to forgo closing that curtain since, the longer that I looked at the woman, the more uncomfortable I felt.
Instead, I headed back to the sitting room.
* * * * *
The sitting room had very simple decor: two red couches and a square-shaped wooden coffee table with a glass top.
The sound of human chattering drifted downstairs, most probably from the dining room. From the sounds of it, I knew that the voices were of the other tourists that were in the same tour group as me.
I noticed then that sliding glass door that lead outside had been left open. Now that was dangerous, seeing as there were no grills or anything of the sort to stop any intruders from barging in.
I, being responsible, went ahead to go and close the door.
My fingers were already on the metallic border of the door when I noticed that there was a woman outside the window. The woman had had her back to me so I couldn't see her face but I could see that she had dark hair that grazed her shoulders and that she was wearing a blue shirt. From what I could tell, she was one of the other tourists from my tour group.
I opened my mouth to call out to the woman when three other people suddenly arrived by the door. I don't remember exactly what they said to me except that they had told me that they wanted to be let into the house.
I had a bad feeling about that trio.
I tried my best to push the trio out of the house. I mean, I had just seen a possibly-zombie woman and I did not want to risk them actually being zombies as well.
The trio were being quite pushy. One of them, a woman with long brown hair and a green tank top, already had one foot in the house when one of the men came down from the dining room.
"You gotta compensate for ruining our dinner," the man told the uninterested trio, "There's 'bout 55 of us up there (in the dining room) and you'd need to give an extra 23 for ruining my date." I assume that the man was implying that the trio's compensation should be in the form of money.
And then I heard it, I even saw it: the shuffling of what sounded like multiple pairs of feet and the silhouette of a large group of people. The group seemed to be stumbling their way through the dark. The whole group tried to cram themselves through the door at the same time.
Hell, at that point, I could only hope and pray that they weren't what I thought they were.
Zombies.

A/N: I'm putting this in the Author's Note because I don't remember much of the dream:
[04.08.19 - 0901 hours] In the first half of the dream, I was wandering around a mall that was having a blue and black theme going on. I was walking along towards an escalator with my friend. We had just left a relative's party and, as we walked, we both confessed that we felt a bit lonely. The kind of lonely that stems from the thought that nobody was truly interested in learning about us. Not even our family.
I passed by my younger cousin then. He was wearing a tux and he looked very sweet. I greeted him with a simple "Hi" but the younger boy literally turned his head away from me and continued walking towards the party that we had just left. My friend sympathised with me, having a first-hand example of the loneliness that I had just confessed about.
In the second half of the dream, I was eating cake in a large pantry. The pantry had cream-coloured walls and floor as well as counters made of wood and metal. The friend that I was previously hanging around with had left to somewhere that I didn't know.
Suddenly, a family member came up to me but I had shrunk away from them because I didn't trust them. I suppose that was another sign of loneliness in my dream.
