The next day I hear trucks coming to our house and lots of loud voices. I hear our front door open and I hear Dakota saying goodbye. Even though I'm in my nightgown I run downstairs to say goodbye. The biggest hug that I've been saving went to him, and tears ran down both of our faces. "I love you, Dakota, never forget that. I will be right here waiting for you to come back, and I will never forget everything you've done for me". It was September and I was deadly sick, I couldn't go to school or do anything, but Dakota took care of me, even though he could've gotten sick also. "I love you Najma, and I will return, and I will win the war." The last of the big hug was given and he threw his duffel bag onto the truck. "Goodbye, don't fret too long, because I will be back."
