Chapter 6

     “Are u serious,  u mean he just called u out of d blues and asked u to deliver coffee to him. U guyz even chatted for over an hour,  wow I'm amazed” Di said over d phone
    “As in,  I also couldn't believe it. I even thought he wanted to add me to his list of his fuck ladies as he does all d time but he really amazed me. It was fun chatting with him anyways”  Char replied
   “Hmmm, indeed.  Anyways ve u heard from your boyfriend at all today”  Di asked
   “Yea,  we talked dis morning”
         (U would be wondering how I ve a boyfriend cause I haven't mentioned him at all since d beginning of dis novel.  Anyways we started dating on my convocation day “funny right”  we have been dating since then and it's been a year now,  his name is Jane,  very handsome,  we'll built tall and a good guy)
      “Oh,  hope u guyz settled your fight already”  Di asked
    “Yes we did,  u know I can't be mad at him forever right. I have to go now Di.  Talk to u later. Byeee” Char said
     “OK baby girl,  byeeeee”  Di replied before hanging up.

  “Mom I'm home” Char shouted from d front door
     “Over here honey” Mom called from d kitchen.
  “Hey mom” Char greeted
“Hi honey,  how was work” Her mom greeted giver her a hug ND a kiss on her cheek.
   “So stressful mom. Hmmm,  wats d occasion” Char asked tasting d soup her mom was cooking
  “Oh,  one of my old friend is coming over today with her children” she said
   “Really,  wat tym”
   “Hmmm, (she said checking her phone for d tym)  in d next 1 hour”  mom replied
    “OK mom,  ve a nice time with them”  char said turning around to walk out of d kitchen
   “Come back here young lady,  who told u I was gonna meet them alone.  We are all meeting them together so go up there, take a shower,  put on a nice dress ND tell your sister to do d same”  mom said
   “But mom I'm tired”
“Don't worry u will ve fun,  now go quick cause time is not on your side” she said clearing up d kitchen
   “(sighing deeply) I don't know why we have to join her.  God my plan to just face palm d bed right now has been destroyed” char said before walking up to her room

        DING DONG,  DING DONG
  Charlotte mom walked over to d door
  “Hi Elizabeth,  how ve u been(they hugged each other giving each other an half kiss on both cheek)  it's been a while now”  Veronica chars mom said
   “Indeed it has been.  How is ur husband and your children”  Lizzy said
   “They re all good”
   “Here is my son Jason and my daughter Maddie”
     “Good evening ma'am”  they both greeted Veronica
   “OMG see how beautiful and handsome u both have grown to be,  it would have been really hard for me to recognize both of  u on my own.  Let me call down  my daughters.  Charlotte, Mallie get down here both of you”
   “Charlotte (Jason said to himself) it might not be her”
   “We re coming mom”  they both responded.
     They both descended from the staircase in their elegant wears walking towards their mother.

     I was still adjusting my dress when my mom introduced us.
“Elizabeth, these are my children Charlotte and Mallie”  mom said
“I looked up to greet d guest, only for me to see Jason beside d woman.  Good evening ma'am”  I greeted politely but still thinking of wat Jason could be doing here.
    “How are u darling,  look how beautiful u nd your sister are.  Here is my son Jason and u can call me Elizabeth”  She said with a smiley face
  “Your son!!! I practically screamed out surprised”
“Yes, why do u guyz know each other before” Elizabeth asked
“Yes mom,  we do” Jason replied
  “Then that's good we don't need to do any special introduction for the two of u I'm sure u guyz already get along so well” Veronica said
“We better get to the dinning table to eat now before the food gets cold”  Veronica said leasing the way to the dining table.
   We all chatted while eating, Elizabeth told us about Jason ND his sister when they were young ND all Jason embarrassing moments.  My mm also did the same for me.  We had a lot of fun during dinner.
    After eating we all finished eating dinner me ND Jason cleared the table to do the dishes while the others went to the living room.

    “U ve a beautiful house ND you look so beautiful this night”  Jason said
“Thanks,  u don't look bad either”  I said with a blush creeping on my cheek
  We kept having small talks here ND there ND we kept on teasing each other.  After finishing the dishes we headed to d living room where d others were.
    We played series of game,  had a dancing competition ND a lot of other games.
  “Awwwwwwn, see how cute they look together,  they match a perfect couple we shld set them up for dinner some other time” Elizabeth said to Veronica with a smile on her face
    “Mom......., wat re u guyz talking about ND smiling dat much”  char said with a raised eyebrow
   “Nothing sweetie,  just having fun”  Veronica replied with a mischievous smile plastered on her face.
“I hope so”  char replied not convinced a tiny bit by her mother's reply
  
    “OK Veronica,  we will be heading home now,  thanks for having us tonight” Elizabeth said giving Veronica a hug
“U welcome Lizzy and don't hesitate to stop by anytime” mom said
  “ I surely won't,  bye Charlotte ND Mallie” Lizzy greeted
  “Bye Mrs Heather,  bye Jason,  bye Mallie”  both Charlotte ND Mallie greeted respectively
  They all bidder each other good night ND left.
  “Ah,  I'm so exhausted from all the fun we had tonight” Char said
   “Me too”  mom replied
  “Good night guyz”  Char greeted
  “Night honey”  mom replied with a kiss on my forehead.

 
      I'm  so sorry guys for updating so late,  ve been pretty busy lately with a lot of things and ve not adjusted completely to all this., but I promise to change💖😍💟.
