Stephen shuffled down the hall groggily. He had been woken up to investigate a noise that Tony had heard from the kitchen. Of course, it was always Stephens' job to investigate these sorts of things. As he placed a hand on the doorknob, he too heard a soft sound. He hit his wrists together quietly, creating a pair of glowing shields. Just in case.

He opened the door abruptly, only to find Natasha looking out the window, surrounded by mountains of intricate and expensive-looking equipment. He lowered his hands.

"What are you doing here? Its two in the morning!" Stephen whispered, careful not to wake anyone up.

"Watching Mia," Natasha said deadpan like it was obvious. She pointed out the window.

Stephen made a confused hand movement at the gear which Natasha knew meant and these?

"I have the SHIELD Canada armoury on speed dial." Natasha shrugged.

"Of course you do."  Stephen pinched the bridge of his nose. "What are you even watching? Its the early hours of the mourning, for christ's sake!"

"I don't have anything yet. I'm just here because I can't sleep." Natasha told him truthfully.

"Well, I can. have fun." Stephen turned a heel and walked back to bed.

Tony woke up to a Stephenless room. Which was a bit strange, seeing as it was the weekend and he would be studying at his desk around now. Tony turned his attention to the bedside table which had a small note on it.

"I woke up early to go do something, don't worry. If you need me, I am in room 14C. -Sincerely, Stephen."

That's weird, all the rooms in the C quad are gyms, pools and studios. Its the athlete's quad.\, what on earth is he up to there? Tony thought to himself. He decided that since he had nothing better to do, he would haul himself out of bed and investigate.

He shuffled out of the residential building, clutching the note. As he made his way towards the athletes quad, his curiosity only grew. Martial arts classes ended ages ago, and they were in the field anyways.

Tony reached the door to room 14C. He opened it and found Stephen alone in a dance studio. Tony watched in awe as his boyfriend spun gracefully on the spot, delicately balancing on the ball of one foot. It looked as if he could keep the momentum and go on forever. Unfortunately, catching Tony's reflection in the mirror took Stephen so off guard that he nearly fell.

"What are you doing here?" Stephen inquired.

"You left a note and I was curious." Tony shrugged. "And may I ask you the same? You said you hadn't danced in a while."

"At the formal our conversation reminded me that I had stopped doing something really fun. I wanted to get back into ballet, so I started practicing on my own every once in a while." Stephen explained.

"Well, I have no experience with any type of dance, so I have no idea what I'm saying, but you looked nice." Tony complimented.

"Thanks."

"I have an idea! You should teach me some!" Tony exclaimed.

"Really?" Stephen was a bit taken aback by this. Tony didn't seem like the dancing type. "Sure, if you want to."

"Yeah! What will you teach me first? Something like this?" Tony did a crude impression of a pirouette that made Stephen snicker.

"No, we'll start with positions, how about that."

Someone told me I should stop apologizing, so I won't this time. Whoever, I will acknowledge that I have taken a while to update. Unfortunately, I will be going to Quebec, so I can't write until at least September. Even then, my writing schedule will be fairly slow, seeing as I have a lot of dance practise before international championships. Until next time! -Cranberry
